This pulley is amazing! I really needed a small, quiet, easy guide and smooth action pulley for simple 1/4†nylon 1:1 work... this combo is ironically hard to find until I finally found this one and put it through its paces. The crap at the big box stores are 100% trash. Zero play, ultra smooth with no noise or line jitter, stout beyond any possible strain limits at this size and beautiful as a bonus. Do not buy this pulley unless you also think that a swivel pulley is merely one where the attachment ring is attached by a threaded screw and then partially loosened. Any weight on the pulley and a counter-clockwise swiveling will quickly separate the ring from the pulley. This could cause a very dangerous situation.

I bought this to bring backpacking to hang my bear bag. I didn't bring it because it's too heavy. Which is probably a good thing if you need a heavy pulley. I'm trying to find a use for it because it seems to be good quality, but my opportunities to use a pulley are lacking. :(

This is a very heavy duty pulley which seems to be made a good quality stainless steel. The removable axle section is helpful for some kinds of assembly.The biggest negative is that the bolt connecting the main body to the eyelet doesn't stay well attached. It arrived already fallen out. Obviously if this happened while in use the consequences could be terrible. I may disassemble the thing and rebuild it with a good dose of high strength thread locking compound.

I use this pulley for my DYI home gym and it functions perfectly. I tried using cheaper ones at the local big box store but it was noisy and didnt roll very smoothly. Heavy duty and built well, I’m glad I spent the extra dollar for this pulley.

I'm using the pulley on a workout machine with loads well below the rating. Just over a month of occasional use led to a loud grinding and increased friction in one of the pulleys.

Used this to replace the pulley at the top of a flag pole. That is probably gross overkill for a unit as well made as this one. I don't expect to have to replace it again.
