Time will tell how quickly these deteriorate, but eventually they all do. These O-rings are super low priced, but the look and feel of them is the same as OEM St@-Rite or Pent@ir O-rings. What I mean is glossy, with a slight give to them when you apply a thumbnail.They fit perfectly on my St@-Rite pool pump with a 5†Trap, which takes the OEM O-ring part number U9-229. This seems to be the most common St@-Rite/Pent@ir pump, at least in this area, and has a white basket (trap) that twists about an eighth of a turn and pulls out.I measured the O-rings with a digital caliper and came up with 0.267†(6.7mm), which is just over ¼ inch thick. The inside diameter is roughly 5.71†and the outside is 6.25â€. (I tried to ensure that the O-ring was perfectly round when measuring, but I could be off by a few thousanths).When the O-ring starts to emulsify, you’ll start getting black gunk on your hands and it will get softer and softer until it literally turns to mush and fails. Here in the south that doesn’t take long, so I like to have spares on hand. I like that this is a 2-pack, and very reasonably priced.Hope this helps.

Update 6/2024 these are fantastic, just bought another set for this season. Long lasting, no leaks, definitely a good purchase!What else can I say, great price, for a TWO pack of these and they are great! Have a spare one for next year when the time comes to replace it as I always do here in Florida in the spring getting ready for pool season. Excellent quality and fit perfect. All is working well, no leaks and I give this o ring 5 stars! Saves alot versus buying it locally at the pool retail store.

The rings arrived it good shape and fit perfectly. I am glad to have a second ring to have a spare on hand.

My pump lid o rings have a spec number that seems to be discontinued. However, after checking the measurements I tried these and they fit perfectly!

Quality of o-ring appeared high and fitment was spot on. Be sure to clean housing and lid's mating surfaces and utilize a good silicone lubricant on the seal.
