I purchased these to wrap some small furniture pieces that we're putting in storage. I was expecting the ultra scratchy type blankets. I had looked at similar style blankets at Home Depot, and considering these were so much cheaper, I was expecting the same to lower quality.I was very wrong. These are SO MUCH nicer. They're actually soft, a little thicker and sturdier than I was expecting, and feel really solid and secure. These are nice enough that I'm writing a review for them... for moving blankets...I put them around my furniture, then shrink wrapped the lot. 10/10, no complaints. (In a pinch, I could also see you using these as sleeping pallets / bases in an emergency situation. They have a nice firmness to them, and I think they would support well, while isolating you from anything cold below. I hope I don't get to test that theory, but if you're looking for something like that, these blankets might do the trick!)

The product is nice and thick. It also is pretty durable.I use them mostly to insulate my exterior faucets when we get freezing weather. I also use them to block drafts at the base of my overhead garage door during cold weather.

We have a moving blanket from another distributor from a couple of years ago that's really big and thick, and these aren't that. Measurements seem right, or close enough. They're thin, but still thick enough. I bought them for an atypical use, but I think if I were actually using them to move, they'd provide sufficient protection over my furniture (tho, honestly, I did have blankets on my last move and not only did the movers NOT use them, the slid things across and over all my 80yo+ dressers and tables, really destroying things, while leaving the stack of blankets neatly folded on top of some boxes).

Ok, so.. Did not by them for their intended purpose so my review is a bit unorthodox.Got them as a liner for under my guinea pigs fleece in their cage. First use they were perfect, but after one wash there was MAJOR shrinkage. So, great product for the job I need them for, but plan bigger for the guinea pig parents out there ðŸ‘

best addition to weather proofing your home for winter. finished installing a few of these around the home and with the regular amount of everyday heat use one can tell that the heat last a lot longer in the home. the electric bill is now more sensible during winter times.

Needed a few moving blankets to protect my hardwood floor and furniture during my move, and these were much cheaper than competitors for what seemed like a similar manufacturing quality. The blankets did not shed, or smell strongly of chemicals when I opened them, and felt thick enough to provide adequate padding for my purposes. The material did not feel very rough or prone to tearing and seemed like it would last through at least one move.They all survived the move to my new home, partially covered in snow, with no tearing or defects found, and I still use them occasionally to pad and provide hardwood protection for projects around the house.

I needed these blankets to protect my furniture for a move that didn't involve professional movers that provide their own blankets. I used them, I kept them and now I can let friends or family members use themif they need them in the future.

I needed these to protect a few wooden and glass items while moving them, and to double as dust covers in a storage unit. They were fine for the job, but I wouldn’t trust them for anything more than scratch protection and very light padding, as they’re pretty thin. The advertised size is also a straight up lie. They’re around 5.5-5.75 ft long at most.

Worked great for protecting furniture during move. Only complaint is that there were metal bits in some of the blankets (like wires) that could have scratched our furniture if we hadn't noticed them and pulled them out. Did not notice any bad smell like some reviewers.
