The DustWarden successfully cleaned the dust from my camera sensor. It got rid of the spots which were appearing on my pictures. I really like that it has a filter. It is easy to use and does a great job.

Full disclosure - I received this product as a member of the Amazon VINES review program. The comments and opinions are based on my knowledge of similar products and experience using the product listed. If your serious about your photography, you know how difficult it can be to keep dust and dirt off your equipment, unless you work solely in a studio. Even then dust is still all around. Most of the time, any dust on the lens is not an issue because at the image focus point, the bokeh of the dust particles is so large they are not even seen. The issue comes when the lenses are cleaned and if there is any abrasive dust/dirt particles on the lens glass and the lens is simply wiped off with a lint free cloth. Those particles can easily scratch the lens glass and over a period of time a series of scratches can cause issues with your photos. That is where this simple tool comes into play. Using the blower bulb, any dust or dirt that is on the lens can be safely blown off the glass before any actual contact with the glass is made with a cloth or other material. The construction of the blower has a filtered air input (three filter collars are provided) so that the air being used to blow off the glass is already clean to prevent forcing more dust into the glass surface. It also has a flexible rubber snoot to prevent scratching the glass should you accidently contact the glass while blowing off any dust, etc. It also prevents any saliva, etc. from being sprayed onto the glass surface if you were to blow the glass with your mouth. Believe me it happens then you have to clean the glass even more thoroughly to remove the residue and any smears that might have occurred in the process. With the use of the included finger ring lanyard and the carabiner spooling line, control of the bulb blower while in use should prevent the user from accidently dropping the blower or losing it when carrying it in the field in a backpack.

Great blower. I give it 4/5 stars only bc it could be a tad smaller to hold and squeeze easier. But it’s great and good blow.

This is a beast of a blower. I got it for cleaning camera lenses as well as blowing dust off of camera sensors. Well built and it definitely puts out a strong puff of air. The tip is silicone which will not scratch lenses or filters should you get too close. The description says it has a built-in filtration system which keeps dust inside the squeeze bulb instead of spewing it over a lens. I assume that works as described though I don't really have a means of testing that. The box comes with a couple of spare filters. I didn't know what those were until I read it on the packaging box. There's no instructions or explanations on how you use these spare filters. I'm not sure if you're supposed to remove the one that comes on the blower first. They should include some sort of instructions either in the box, on the package, or in their online description. I'm not worried about it since I doubt the original one is going to wear out. Just the same, I imagine some users are going to be guessing about this same as me.The box also includes a carabiner clip with a retractable cord you can use to clip your blower to your belt or camera bag to have it at the ready for all your photo and other optical gear.All-in-all, it's very well built and sends out a solid blast of air. I'm definitely pleased.

I got this UES DustWarden mainly because it has a filter. I have another similar blower, but it is a cheap one that came with a cleaning kit. This blower is a nice addition to my camera bag. It puts out a considerable volume of air; in addition to using it on my camera, I used it to blow off the keyboard on my laptop, and it worked quite well for that. I like the replaceable filter (it comes with two extras), but I wish there were some instructions on how to replace them. The tip is very soft, so there should not be issues with scratching delicate surfaces, and the blower comes with a carabiner and retractable cord and attachment loop in case you want to attach it to a camera bag or something else. It came packed in a box with a foam cushion that is fitted to the blower, which is nice for storage. I plan on keeping it in the box for storage, at least as long as the box does not fall apart. Overall, I have no complaints with this blower, other than the lack of instructions for changing the filter, but for such a simple product I don't see that as a major issue. This is not a new and exciting product, but I feel it is a nice update of something that users take for granted. If you need a good bulb type blower, this is an excellent choice.

I have had a chance now to really put this product through the wringer in various shooting conditions (rain/drizzling, dusty conditions, mountains, humid areas, and the beach). It has performed flawlessly. The carabiner is not particularly useful, but that thumb ring certainly is! Really helps with controlling the air. Due to the narrow nozzle diameter and large silicone bellow (that’s quite comfortable), it absolutely does it’s job as intended with a powerful burst of air. One thing I really liked was that the air blast is powerful enough to blow small water particles off the lens and it easily cleared the lens of condensation due to humid conditions. I also really like that I don’t have to think too much where to place it in the bag… wherever there is a spot! Honestly I would not. change anything in the design at all. The only thing I would suggest to the manufacturer is to ditch the carabiner and add extra filters/replacement tips instead as that is what is more useful. Bravo, folks! Great design.Update: I removed my other dust blower from my camera backpack and it will never use it again except in emergencies if this one breaks. This is now my go to blower.

Upon unboxing you are presented with the blower bulb with attached retainer ring, two replacement air filters (bulb already has another one installed) and a carabiner with a retractable cord to attach your blower to a camera bag.I ordered this UES DustWarden Camera Dust Blower with Built-in Dust Filtration System not primarily for use on camera equipment (but I will use it for that occasionally) but to use for dusting delicate models that I have built. Even if your display models are in a curio cabinet there can still be dust enter the cabinet and build up on a models. Sometimes you can use a very delicate brush to clean these models but many times a brush is not appropriate on more delicate parts. There is also the option to use a can of compressed air but in many cases a blast of compressed air is too strong and can damage your models. This air blower is gentle enough not to damage your model and yet strong enough to clear dust. It also has a soft flexible nozzle on the blower so if you accidentally touch what you are cleaning it will cause no damage. This blower has proven very efficient in delicately blowing dust off of my models without causing any damage. I have also used it to clean dust from vintage (non-functioning) camera equipment that I also display in a curio cabinet.I wish that the blower came with some printed instructions in order to change the air filter. After searching the listing for instructions I discovered that there is a short video in the listing that does a good job of explaining how to change the filter but printed ones would be nice as well. I have not yet needed to change a filter so haven't yet attempted to remove the original filter but would have probably not done it correctly without the video. The air blower is very well constructed and feels like it will last a long time. Highly recommended for camera equipment and any other objects that require delicate dusting.Priced at $29.99 at the time of this review with a coupon available for a $5.00 discount.

Having a dust blower in your gear bag is a must for any photographer regardless of whether you're a pro or an amateur like me. You need to keep your lenses and camera sensor clean and dust free in order to get the best possible results. This UES DustWarden Dust Blower will be replanting my old "Rocket" blower that has seen better days and is actually starting to fall apart. The UES DustWarden Dust Blower features a unique one way valve design with a screen filter to help eliminate any dust particles from being blown back onto your lens or camera sensor. The blower arrived with a gold colored filter ring already attached, and two additional black filter rings in the box. The filter ring is a bit of a pain to remove, but a short video has now been included in the description that shows how to properly remove and replace the filters. The blower nozzle is 30mm (1.25") in length and is a soft and flexible silicone, unlike the Rocket blower that has a hard plastic nozzle. This is much less likely to scratch your lens while cleaning it. There's a short nylon cord with a silicone finger ring that's attached to end of the blower. This provides a great finger hold and can also be used to stand the blower upright. A plastic carabiner with a retractable key ring is also included in the package and can be used to clip the blower to the exterior of your camera bag so it's in easy reach when you need itThe bulb on the UES DustWarden Dust Blower is soft and easy to squeeze and it re-inflates quickly. It's quite a bit smaller than my old "Rocket" blower, but it provides as much, if not more air flow than the "Rocket" blower does. Hopefully that air will be even cleaner because of the additional filtration.I think this is a great quality blower at a reasonable price point and I would highly recommend it. 5 out of 5 stars.
