I went by the size chart and it recommended an extra large for size 36 waist and the are way to big, I live the shorts and will reorder them in a large

These swim trunks are very comfortable and the appearance is awesome. I love the design on them. The fabric is very soft and these are easy to move around in great swimming shorts.

Pros:-The design is crazy. In person they are just as bright, brilliant, and totally wild as in the picture. The fire breathing unicorn is totally badass.-The printing seems like it'll hold up. It's bold, bright, and seems like it'll last. Time will tell, but have used them in the hot tub a few times already. Granted, we use a Bromine system, so they are getting less of a chlorine soak, but I don't think they'll fade out faster than any other swim trunks.-They fit. I was a bit concerned with the sizing options, generally wearing an XL it was unclear if XXXL was going to be enough X's to translate. In fact, probably could have taken an X off, but no harm in swim trunks being a tad large. Between the elastic waist and drawstring they aren't going anywhere.Cons:-Difficult to figure out sizing. Mine ended up fitting, a touch on the large side (XXXL for a usual XL/40" waist size). Was fine, but deciding the size and wondering if they'd fit was more trouble than swim trunk sizing should be.-Hate the mesh liner. Will be removing it, but that will most likely leave an edge around the waist that may be a bit irritating, but still less irritating than the silly mesh liner. I don't understand the purpose of it, seems like an outdated modesty idea. These trunks come to my knees... nothing's falling out the bottom.-Price is good, but not great. Seriously, these are vaguely novelty, obviously manufactured in asia with unclear sizing. The sort of thing you'd expect to be about $5 cheaper than they are. Not enough to not buy them, but enough to not feel like they were any sort of deal.

These swim trunks are comfortable and the fit is great. The material is durable and soft and they should last a good while. The shorts look exactly like the photos, so you can rock a cool and interesting design while at the pool or beach...what's cooler than a sloth pirate holding a lightsaber and riding a unicorn shooting flames out of its nose? I was actually impressed by both the quality of the trunks' construction and the quality of the image printed on them. These are a win!
