Tips:
1.KSD301 and KI 31 are the same 1/2 inch thermostat, but the way of naming is different, the same type has a well-known manufacturer's model KSD302/KSD303/KSD201/1NT/TK 24/36T /US-118 /T11 and other names. Performance is consistent and all are interchangeable.
2.When you choose to control temperatures above 120 degrees, engineers recommend choosing a ceramic shell thermostat. Because in actual operation, there is a high amount of waste heat generated during heating after the thermostat is activated. Ceramic thermostats are more resistant to high temperatures and have more stable quality
Installation Precautions:
1.Before installing this part, unplug the household appliances,Cut off the power completely.
2.Take a picture first before removing any parts, so you know how to restore everything at the end.
3.The temperature controller is a series circuit, not parallel, installation must refer to the original product circuit design.
4.Do not collapse, loosen or deform the top of cover surface during installation to avoid affecting performance.
5. Lock the screw hole, should be fixed at the same time, then lock, avoid the bracket to the other side of the tilt, resulting in temperature control aluminum cover deformation, temperature control parameters change.
6. For the sake of safety, the connecting wire terminal shall be insulated and closed.
7.Do not allow liquid to penetrate into the interior of the thermostat or crack the housing.
8.The thermostat should be stored in a warehouse with RH less than 90% and ambient temperature less than 40 ℃, which is ventilated, clean, dry.

Saved my microwave from the trash heap!A horrible, acrid burning odor filled the house & nauseated me when the original thermal cutoff burned. Upon disassembly, I spotted the burned culprit. The original had a bakelite body which when burned emits a toxic cloud! The replacement fit perfectly and has a ceramic body, which will not burn! Better than the original from GE. New wire pigtails and spade connectors and back in business! I don't recommend that the average DIY'er attempt this due to the potential for shock or electrocution, but someone with knowledge and skill can certainly repair his/her appliance and keep it out of the waste stream! (I was in the appliance repair trade for many years)
