Product was delivered promptly. The terminal end connections are good quality with sizes clearly marked. The case is a little flimsy and won’t take much abuse, but it’s perfect for organizing and storing pieces in a drawer or on a shelf. The connectors worked flawlessly with my die-less hydraulic crimper. Great buy for the money.

This kit is not a bad deal by any means! Using them in conjunction with the TEMCo Hammer Lug Crimper Tool made it easy to make my own custom #2 power wires for the truck and car for high amperage alternators. The copper ring lugs fit very well on numerous size gauge wires and once crimped with the TEMCo tool, they stayed very tight and could not be pulled out in any way. Putting some shrink wrap over the lugs when crimped, made them safe and as professional(even better than many others) looking and performance at a fraction of buying pre-made wires. Nice product and will order again if I run out having too much fun!!

Exactly what I wanted. Multiple sizes so I can connect exactly what I want. Adequate copper where crimping holds tight and allows solder to stick to copper making electrical contact even better.

I recently did a Vines review on a cheaper lug and used these Torkettle lugs that I purchased with my own money as an example of what a good lug should look like. I am using the cheaper lug in this review for the same reasons. The differences are startling when I placed them side by side. The cheaper lug is the metric equivalent to to the AWG4-5/16 lug. Note the Torkettle has the longer barrel length and the flared end (picture attached). The longer flared barrel will mean all wire strands should be easier to slide into the barrel, and the longer barrel length should allow for a good secure crimp. The Torkettle lug weighed over double what the cheaper tinned lug did, 7g vs 3g. These lugs are also ROHS compliant and UL listed for 35kV max. The cheaper lugs had no documentation or certifications.I enjoy doing reviews especially to help people get good value for their hard earned money. As I stated in the beginning of this review, I purchased the Torkettle lugs with my own money, the cheaper lugs were given to me to review. I have no vested interest in either company and I try to call them as I see them. I can tell you that when I need more lugs, I will be buying either these lugs again or lugs of similar quality. I have too much money invested in my solar and battery systems to cheap out and risk safety by saving a few dollars on the lugs.

Crimp well and does the job needed. Good quality and solid copper that handles the cable just fine. Used them for my solar setup on my RV and all connections were solid with no heat issues at all.
