This yarn holder has made every crochet project so much easier for me. Keeps even large cakes and cones in check, and the little caddy on the side keeps my hooks, scissors and stitch markers organized and out of the cracks between the couch cushions! The magnet feature which allows the spindle to turn is very strong and works great. Awesome design, great price and looks really pretty too. Mine came with a coupon for an extra spindle for free- so if that arrives I’ll be even more pleased with this (because it’s kind of important to have a spare spindle or 2 if I’m changing colors in a project).

*Updated review I've been using this yarn holder every day since I purchased it. One more thing that stands out is that the magnets are super strong & will hold heavier yarn. I even just purchased a second one. Still 5 stars.I purchased this yarn holder with the crochet accessories storage attachment, and it arrived in excellent condition. Assembly was a breeze, thanks to the included screwdriver. The main spindle and accessory holder connect securely with strong magnets.Inserting my yarn cake was simple, and it also accommodates yarn skeins. I no longer need to stop to pull off excess yarn from the cake, skein, or ball because this design allows the yarn to unwind effortlessly as I work, which has improved my tension and speed. I really can't find anything negative to say about this holder.Currently, I have a 6 oz. cake on it, and the magnet holds firmly. I also love the accessory holder for my hooks, pens, and stitch markers. The wood is smooth and solid, adding a nice decorative touch to my table when not in use. I can’t believe I ever crocheted without this!

This yarn holder is perfect! I love the storage attachment. It fits several of my extra crochet hooks, scissors, and stitch markers. It makes crocheting easier, and my yarn can't roll away from me across the floor. Customer service is wonderful. And it was packaged really well.

i crochet a lot and kept my yarn in a bag. It would get tangled. Today I received and starting using this yarn feeder. It was super easy to put together and now that I am using it, I am SO PLEASED how it holds and distributes my yarn as I crochet. I heartily recommend this product.

I found the yarn holder to be a beautiful, well-constructed tool. I especially like this particular yarn holder because it includes the additional storage tray. It's perfect for holding my yarn and all of the tools I need for my crochet projects. It keeps everything tidy and looks good on the table.

I just received this and could not wait to set it up. I am Impressed with how solid the whole system is. The magnet that holds the spindle is very strong yet allows for rotation and movement. No more chasing my yarn all over the place and I am Hoping less tangling.

It has taken me 83 years to find the perfect crochet assistant. After having crocheted tens of thousands of yards of yarn over the years I can now crochet with ease and without frustration. The freedom with which the yarn can now pass through the fingers without pulling or tugging means that I can now crochet much faster and complete articles in much less time. I didn't know the Artowel Yarn Holder existed until I was motivated to see whether there were any new crochet accessories to be had. Low and behold, this item caught my eye and made a lot of sense to me, particularly with the little attachment for miscellaneous items such as stitch markers and crochet hook spaces for hook storage. I can even store yarn snippers for easy convenience.The item is simple in design, easy to assemble, decorative and non-obtrusive so it fits in with any Decor , there are several colors to choose from and I chose mahogany as that is the best wood choice for my decor. The Artowel Yarn Holder can also handle large capacity yarn which I find very convenient. I ordered the mahogany spindle and received it today. I was unsure if the magnet was going to be strong enough to prevent it from separating during use. I am so happy to say it is absolutely strong enough. I really like that there is a spot to hold my hooks, tapestry needles, and stitch markers. It looks really nice on my end table too! I've also found that I'm able to work faster since using this spindle so that's a wonderful bonus. It was super easy to put together, I think it took maybe 20 seconds, and I appreciate that a mini screwdriver was included. We'll worth the money!
