Ultrawall Garage Wall Shelves, 2 x 4 ft Wall Mounted Storage Shelves, Heavy Duty Wall Shelving with Hooks, Holds Up to 220 Lbs, 2Pack, BlackI picked these up to put in our back mud room that allows for very high ceilings. We have a lot of heavy things that we would like to have more accessible and these seemed sturdy and heady duty. When they arrived, I was encouraged by the weight of the box, and unpacking it was clear that these were built for some weight. 3 large lag bolts for each metal bracket ensures that these are staying put with even large weight loads. Ultrawall rates the shelves at 220 lbs and while I don't imagine that I will come close to that, it is a good feeling to know that they are weight stable.Instillation was not too bad. finding the studs and drilling for the lag bolt was the biggest part. once I got the brackets in and was installing the metal "shelves", I was very suprised that there was no way to lock them in place... they just shift back and forth horizontally. I was sure I had missed something, but a Quick Look at the product page and other reviews mention this as well... I did have some spare zip ties, but it really shouldn't need them. I would hope tha the manufacturer would remedy this. That said, the horizontal shift is maybe half an inch and annoying more than a major fault. I will also echo that the paint has also flaked for me as well. not a big issue for me being in the back, but it is also annoying. pulling a star for both of those. The units come with metal hooks which are nice to be able to hang tools from. The value isn't bad for metal shelves, I see these lasting far longer than I will be in this house (likely 20 years).

These aren't the ordinary white wire shelves you normally see on a wall near the washer and dryer for holding detergents and fabric softener.Check the size and you'll know why these cost more. The shelves are 2'x4', which is 1/4 sheet of plywood, but they seem a lot bigger than that. For perspective:In the first photo, my knowing the size of these shelves in person tells me the coil of blue is not 5/16" vacuum line; it's at least 3/4" irrigation hose or some kind of big fat PEX for commercial hydraulic applications. Those would be full size storage bins, each large enough to hold a whole winter wardrobe, and the toolboxes would hold a complete socket set from 3mm to 32mm with SAE similarly, with all the ratchets, deep sets, torx and hex, the full 12 point expanded kit, all in 1/4", 3/8", and 1/2" drive, with channies, crescents, vice grips,â¶full sets of end wrenches, a timing light, and an analogue torque wrench. The bigger bottle on the top shelf is at least a 1 gallon jug.If you filled all of those up with ferro-fluid, these shelves might see the wire distort, but those giant brackets and the bolts, which are roughly 1/2" x 3" with 5/8" hex head, aren't likely to give up before the studs in the walls that the bolts are sunk into gave up and split in half.I found these as a Vine free product for my review, and I really thought I was going to be busting somebody's chops who desperately deserved it for charging too much for a little wire laundry soap thingy, but nope. I've had the greatest luck choosing some very surprisingly excellent products, some of which have ads that don't do them 1st-sight justice, like this one.I want 10 more of these shelves.I could SLEEP on one of these things. ...well, if I padded it really well and curled up slightly and were able to relax and stop feeling like I was a big yellow and blue folded up river raft waiting for next summer and, "hey, where are my oars, anyway",..... or something.
