Must-Have for Any Fishing Trip!Before I bought this underwater camera, fishing was totally based on “feelingâ€, but after I used it, I realized that I could really “see†the fish! The first time I used it, I was pleasantly surprised that I could clearly see the reaction of the fish and know when they are interested and when they go away, which is much more interesting than just waiting for the fish to hook, and I can also adjust the fishing method more accurately.What I am most satisfied with is its range. The last time I went lake fishing, I went out in the morning and came back in the afternoon with quite a bit of power left, so I didn't have to worry about running out of power in the middle of the day. And the line is long enough to go deep into different depths, so it's easy to detect underwater conditions whether you're in the lake or ice fishing.In addition to fishing, it can also be used to observe the underwater environment. Once we even found a group of small fish circling around the bait but just not taking the bait, we laughed at the sight. This feeling of being able to see what's really going on underwater really makes fishing more fun!All in all, this underwater camera really took my fishing experience up a notch, not just for finding fish, but also for the fun of exploring, highly recommended for those who like to fish!

Does exactly what I need it to do, glad I can flip on/off it's infared with the click of a button. The instructions themselves dont even mention several pieces that are shipped with the product. Compared to similar products on the market it is more expensive than some of its comparative value. The wiring itself is very fragile and must be handled with care.Honestly a very basic underwater camera with good battery life and pieces that dont quite look like they were originally intended to be shipped with this item.

A bad experience. Always delay and lag recording. You will miss many important photos that you need. Batteries drain quickly, too

True wide angle view. At least 25'x25' from 8' away. For the money, this is where it's at. Putting a bracket on this screen, and mounting it to a Kite Reel. Should be quickly deployed and retrieved as a single unit.

I'm a pretty avid fisherman, so I thought this underwater camera would be a cool gadget to add to my gear. It's pretty neat seeing what's actually going on down there. The night vision works well, and the picture is clear enough to identify different fish. It helped me find some good spots on the lake last weekend, even though I didn't catch anything huge.

This underwater fishing camera is really pretty neat. The picture quality is really impressive, it is so much better than I was expecting. Even when the camera is lowered and the water gets darker, you can still see so much detail.Comes with a 100' roll of cable so you can explore pretty much any body of water. Has a rigid case for storage and portability. The screen is powered with a rechargeable internal battery, the charging cord is included.This camera took me awhile to figure out because the "instruction" sheet that was included was in no way instructional. It did not explain how to set the camera up, it simply said "be sure to read all instructions prior to use". It appears that this one small sheet may have been ripped away from the rest of the instructions but I have no way to know for sure. Also, there is a swivel attached to the camera body but I have yet to figure out it's purpose.I personally think that this camera is good for someone that has the patience to get all the settings and enjoys taking pictures. I prefer actually fishing.

This is a really cool product! I have a small aluminum fishing boat that I hooked this up to and I haven’t been disappointed. I fish mainly on lakes so the visibility isn’t great, but it’s still cool to be able to see under the boat and down to the lake bottom.I highly recommend this product! (Just don’t get the wire stuck in the propellor)

This is a pretty interesting portable camera system. It comes in a soft-shell zippered carrying case, with the screen system, camera and cable, two adjustable/swappable camera protective frames, a charging cable, and basic instruction manual. Price at time of review is $187 CAD, and for that I'm not convinced on the value for money. The camera works, the cable is long, and the screen is decent, but that's pretty expensive for what is essentially just a waterproof camera and small screen.Positives:-The camera has good picture quality both in regular lighting mode (suitable in clear water within the depths that light readily reaches, usually less than 15 feet) and in infrared (suitable for deeper water).-The screen colours are very good, and has adjustable settings to improve your view.-Controls are simple to use - there's just three buttons and the entire settings interface is easily navigated with them.-Long cable.-The screen shade works well to cut glare.-Readily portable and lightweight, easy enough to carry on a small watercraft.Drawbacks:-It's quite expensive.-Cable is only wound around a spool, so there's no reel or winding system other than your hand.-Small screen.-Limited instructions for the protective frames, that's all trial-and-error.

This camera is amazing for the price. I have another camera from a different brand that cost 150 dollars more and this one works even better. The video quality and screen clarity are great. The menu is super simple to use and the controls are easy to figure out. The battery life has been impressive so far. I used it for 12-hour days and still had two bars left after use.The zoom feature works well when fishing with kids since it lets them all see their jigs clearly. I was able to see jigs from up to six feet away with no problem. The case is solid and good for storage but it is not waterproof so it is best to keep it off wet surfaces especially if snow starts melting in an ice shanty.
