Customer needs to adjust pump volume to reduce sand being blown out. Waterfall may Still need sand refill every once awhile. Overall this decoration is not recommended for starters.
  • It is not recommended for aquarium with larger fish such as pelco as they may pick on sand causing the waterfall to stop working.

I followed all instructions, it worked for a day and was really neat. Now it just kind of swirls the sand in the bottom, no matter what I do to try and fix the issues, it just won’t work.So now instead of a cool sand fountain, I just have an expensive decoration.

This is a working sandfall but the sand falls slowly. The intake for the sand is just a hole in the tubing below the sand. So the sand can tend to blow out over time. I added a reducer inside the line to create a venturi and now its operating great. Adding a cheap plastic reducer in the line from the factory would make this a 5 star item.

It’s a nice looking decoration and worked great for about a month. Then the waterfall part stopped. Pump still works but it blows the sand up out of the basin instead of sucking it up and into the waterfall. I’ve taken it out, cleaned everything, added more of the sand and it still won’t do the waterfall for more than 5-10 minutes. Also be careful if it does stop working. I left mine in the tank since it looks nice and one of my loaches went up into it and never came back out. I think it got stuck

Pump stopped working after 2 minutes as water manged to get inside. Luckily had a spare from my water feature from garden . I could of sent it back and got a replacement event or refund but waited long enough for delivery and I really can't be bothered to wait for replacent or refund and putting up with the hassel shame you can't just contact seller just to send a new pump .
