A result of doing lots of research and reading lots of reviews, I rarely have buyers remorse. However, this was one of those products that people LOVED or really DID NOT LIKE, but after searching numerous sites for reviews I was still tossed. Sites were selling the Ergo set frm the amazon price up to $200?? I assuming.. the $200 must actually be metal and NOT light weight aluminum! My first impression was a bad impression bc the flimsy box arrived falling a part. No real packing so items just bounced around. Dust pan was very HARD plastic which means in my family as soon as it is dropped it will crack. We were reluctant to put together bc we thought it would crack, but want to at least try it before returning. The broom keep spinning even after tightening a few times. The product is for sure the WORSE product I ever purchased online I tried to return via UPS, who refused to ship bc of the condition of the box. I advised the box was more secure NOW... than when they left it on my porch :(DO NOT... WASTE YOUR TIME & MONEY!

I had this on my wish list for more than a year before I finally broke down and made the purchase. I am so glad I did. As I age, I find there are products that are increasingly difficult to handle. This set is lightweight but very well-made. It is so light, that I, as a 60-year old female can hold the dustpan with broom attached with 1 finger and carry it around that way.My only regret is that I didn't buy it sooner.

This is expensive compared to like products offered at local stores, well you could get 3 for the price of this one at Sam's Club, sure it won't be Unger or ergonomic but....PRO: Well the design is cool looking and the ergo layout sure helps your back. The handles are made of metal which helpsCONS: The red handle grips broke within a month of daily usethe broom is too small, which is a big problem, why have an ergo design if you have to bend over and still hurt your back???the catching part of the dustpan is too small, it should be double the size!not a good deal, I would buy it locally and see if the size is right and if the handles are long enough, I am 5'9" and its too small for me...I would not recommend or buy it again,hope this helps!

It arrived in open box which was torn. The item looked as though had been used and then returned.I have used similar products from local housewares store and had the item for 7 years then the handle broke.

My husband's grandmother requested a long handled dustpan with a metal handle and no rubber edge on the dustpan. I was so excited to finally find this one. It was delivered via UPS in a GIGANTIC BOX and required some very simple assembly. I snapped the handle on the pan and thought it was going to be perfect...but then the swivel feature got stuck and it wouldn't budge. After prying the 2 units apart, I assumed I connected it wrong...but nope, it will only go on one way. It kept getting stuck, so we put it back in the box and returned it. As an alternative, I ordered "Impact 2602 Black Plastic Lobby Dust Pan with "L" Grip PVC Handle" from Amazon.com (not bad for under 14 bucks). Too bad the pricier Ergo model didn't work as well. It was a bit of hassle getting it back in the giant box which didn't fit inside my car. With some borrowed help, we dropped it off at UPS. Perhaps we got a dud. The good news is, the cheaper product is just Perfect!
