I bought a book on processing wool, and about 50% of the message is “use the right soapâ€. And this is apparently the right soap.I have to say it does work better than dish soap or laundry detergent and apparently it’s going to keep the fibers from opening up and getting scratchy. Perfect

The soap itself is basically liquid magic but the jug it came in had a slow leak, unfortunately. I contacted Unicorn and they were super nice and we got the issue resolved! Will definitely order again!

This is a very good wool wash for fleece. I used to use Dawn but now this is my go to product.

I’m washing home grown sheep’s wool. Great fragrance and works better than Dawn.

I washed 6 fleeces in the last year or so and much prefer Unicorn Power Scour over blue Dawn. It cleans and removes lanolin without leaving the fiber feeling crunchy. No need for spinning milk! After twice buying the 16 oz bottles, I broke down and bought the gallon size. It will last me several years if I keep scouring fleece at my current rate, and the convenience of never running out and lower cost per ounce was worth the larger outlay.

I love this product. I am a fiber mill owner and this product cleans my wools and alpaca wonderfully. I would like a little better deal on pricing. Other than that this is a great product.

While it might be expensive, you can really reduce the amount of washing you need to do by using this. I find that rinsing heavily soiled fleece first and then using it will provide great results. If I do a second wash, you only need a tiny bit.

I have used a number of products to clean my alpaca and English Leicester fleeces and Power Scour is my go-to for both dislodging dirt from alpaca and lanolin from English Leicester. Photos attached are a dirty Before scouring, During scouring in the tub, and the shiny white After on a very dirty English Leicester ram fleece.
