We ordered as a replacement for our R8 radar, but it wouldn't lock on. I think our R8 may be broken inside, but who knows. The R7 latched on perfectly.It holds well, and if it "loses" it's stickiness/I need to move it to another vehicle, I just give it a quick scrub with some soap and water over the "suction" part, let it dry and it brings back the adhesiveness to it. Best window suction mount we've had, the only thing he likes better is a mirror mount.Very easy to install, fits well, no matter the vehicle (we've used in cars, SUVs, trucks, jeeps & a semi and it can be adjusted to fit any application we've thrown at it).Works great and we would get it again if we were looking to replace a suction mount.

Nice radar mount bracket for my windshield, no complaints, stays on even in the summer heat. Recommend!

This is nearly identical to my original setup. The suction cup maintains strong contact with the glass, preventing any slipping or movement. The part that goes into my radar detector, however, caused slight vertical shifting. To address this, I firmly pressed it to minimize the gap and movement. After making this adjustment, holds much more firm. It's a suitable fit for my Uniden R3. However, In my 2014 Audi S4, the glass's angle tilts the front of the radar detector upwards more than I prefer. Apart from this, the product performs effectively by firmly securing the detector in place.

No issues with this mount. I enjoy the swivel feature so I can mount right under my rear view mirror and it not be obtrusive. I purchased a second unit for the wife car for easy transfer of radar detector.

Our radar detector is about 12 yrs old. The rubber/silicone ring would no longer stick and tore away. This replacement is just like the original. Hope to get a long use out of it.

I purchased this thinking it would be an upgrade over the original smaller double suction cups but it falls off the windshield within 15 minutes.

just what i needed. my r3 mount would jump so much it was hitting my windshield every bump/ pothole. this fixed it.
