The plunge-style drain stopper in our old bathtub broke and couldn't be replaced and we were unable to take baths (only showers). This drain stopper allowed us to take baths again.It comes with 3 different silicone rings to that it fits in a few styles of drains and is very easy to install: you remove the old grate and place the new stopper in the drain opening. The stopper has a pop-up head so that you can switch between shower and bath mode (as I call it). When the pop-up head is pushed down, no water drains.My only complaint -- and it's minor -- is that the hair trap is small and difficult to clear when the pop-up head is in place. For that reason, we unscrewed the pop-up top, using the stopper in an "always-open" configuration most of the time. When we want to stop water from draining to take baths, we screw the pop-up head back on.

FITS GREAT AND SEALS SECURELY. I love the hair trap because I have very long hair and I need to catch it before it clogs my drain. I had a different style that the hair stayed on top of the plug and had to be cleaned every time. With this style the hair is hidden and I can wait on cleaning it out if there isn't too much collected. It looks good but as an after thought I wish I had gotten brushed nickel because it would match my faucet better. This is very shiny. Install is easy but you need to adjust the rubber ring each time you pull it out so that you don't lose water when filling.

This does it's job, it's easy to take apart, and looks good in the drain. Sits flush, and holds water well. I wish it was an inch or so deeper, seems I have to clean it every time someone showers. But it works. Catches plenty of hair. Easy clean with an old toothbrush to grab the hairs and gunk.

My teenager's long hair was clogging the bathroom drain so after unplugging it, I went looking for a better solution than the builder-grade tub stopper we had previously. I found this one and am so glad I did.We previously had a tub stopper that needed to be turned and pulled up or pushed down. We unscrewed that one and placed this in the drain instead. There is no need to secure it with silicone or other adhesive. It just sits in the drain. The stopper works well with just the tap of a toe.The hair catcher is the best part and works incredibly well. If the water starts to drain slowly, just pull this out of the hole, remove the hair, and replace the stopper. No more shoving a plastic snake into the pipes to remove the hair. Highly recommend.

I'm really pleased with the quality of this bathtub drain plug. It's sturdy and solid. It fits our 5 year old tub perfectly. The press-down/pop-up plug works really well. I like that it has a hair trap--not super fine mesh, but it still traps a lot of hair. I also like that it comes with a couple of extra rubber gaskets in case the seal starts to go over time.One little quibble: there are no instructions of any kind with this item, so it took me a minute to figure out how to take it apart to clean the hair trap. But I quickly noted that the pieces unscrew from one another, which to me seems like an added point in favor of this thing being well made. Took a sec to take apart and clean, and another sec to put it back together. Easy peasy. Two thumbs up!

This is a very easy I'm trained to use. It fits perfect, and it works great. Simply push it down and yeah, it locks into position. It holds the water. There's no water leaking out whatsoever. And it's got a super great look to it. The wife is ecstatic. I had a different one that she was not happy with, but she loves this one so If you want to, please the wife get this one, she'll love it. And there's no issues with it whatsoever.Highly highly recommend this, it works great and super easy to use.

This is definitely an upgrade to the tub in our new house. Our tub just came with a rubber stopper, so just about anything would look better! This hair catching stopper definitely looks good, and I like that it stops hair also. It's super easy to plug the tub, just push on it, then push again to release. I took one star off because it doesn't drain very fast. It is not quite able to keep up with the flow of the shower itself, but only barely, so its not like the tub filled with the shower water. By the end of my short shower there was just over an inch of water in the tub.Overall I do recommend it.
