For the most part this was easy to put together. Some pieces didn't line up perfectly so we needed a rubber mallet to tap them into place. It seemed sturdy once completely assembled and our hammock was added. The kids are enjoying it.

Fits a camping hammock well and the design makes it easier to get comfortable than the usual type of stand. It's big, so make sure it fits in your space. As you can see here, it barely fits on my apartment patio, which is a pretty standard size. The extra length is worth it though. Easy to install the hammock and adjust with the chains and seems sturdy enough. It's heavier and harder to put together than the other usual design but looks better and is easier to walk through. I would use this more as a semi-permanent installation than as camping gear.My only complaint is the condition it arrived in, but the seller was quick to resolve the issue and it's outdoor furniture so I don't expect it to be perfect forever.Overall it is comfortable and functional and looks nice from a distance, but you definitely get what you pay for here. It doesn't seem like my original experience is typical so I'm not going to hold it against them.

The hammock was very sturdy. Not complicated to assemble, but not the easiest by yourself (but doable).Great if you wanted a more "permanent" stand. Not really meant to be a portable option.

Very easy to build, very solid once tightened up. There is a pittle slack when you swing but nothing that would bother me in particular.

Not stable if the hammock in the swing mode. It will tip. Otherwise it seems durable for sleeping.
