I installed a remote and didn't work but because it's so cheap I didn't want to send it back so I'll probably just buy a newer amp with a remote instead .

Plugged into my Alpine S-A55V and does not work at all. Light didn’t turn on and the dial did not change anything, even while changing gain and bass boost from the amp. Only reason I gave it 2 stars is that I didn’t even bother to try and get my money back because it’s so cheap. You get what you pay for…

Made out of plastic, bass is always at max unless you push down on the bass knob then it stays normal for a while. Then right back full throttle

Super easy to install. Knob is not the best quality but it works fine. Works with most subwoofer amps that have the 4 pin connector on it. Basically it just attenuates the sub level, and you can usually set a crossover point that works best with your sub(s) for maximum impact. Works well, I'm really happy with it. I just have it under my seat for now next to my amp and I can reach down and adjust it that way, but the cable is long enough to run it from the trunk up under the dash if you want.
