I was worried this would be too flimsy or something like that. Not at all. I've already used it on 2 different projects and it works great. Now, I have not used it on something as heavy as the crank pulley of a motor vehicle. So keep that in mind. Not sure how it would hold up for that. For regular pulleys, however (like water pump pulleys) it is 100% perfect.

The original fan on my 2007 Chevy Avalanche had not been removed since i got it. Tryed to use a breaker bar, would not budge. Alltooetools Universal Camshaft Pulley & Fan Clutch Removal Holder Set Clutch Alignment Tool is a "Tough Tool" got it done.

If you work on your own vehicles this tool is a must. You will undoubtedly have to replace a water pump at some point. This tool is worth its weight in gold. Very sturdy and adjustable to fit just about any pulley. The storage case is of acceptable quality for the price point and appears to be very durable.

the idea of screwing in the "pins" is a great idea much better than the Autozone rentals. BUT, it's just too bulky. If you look at my pictures, you can't even fit it behind the fan to get on the pully. Great idea, POORLY executed.

This is a pretty good tool. I purchased it to torgue the crank nut down on my 78 Land Cruiser. The adapters were not long enough to adequately reach in to the pulley holes. In addition the tips of the handle were too think to fit into the pulley with the 48mm socket in place. I had to grind the end down for them to fit. In the end I was able to get the nut torqued to the spec, but this tool did not function as designed for fmy application.

Looks and feels good - not a cheapo.. weighs about 5 lbs... comes with a case with couple of accessories.. there's an expensive version out there for almost twice the price but this works fine for me on my '01 Frontier cam pulleys to be held in place while loosening the bolts. Cannot vouch on durability since I used it only once & so far so good.
