We live on a remote off grid homestead and rely on a combination of generator and solar power. Recently our generator was running but not out putting any electricity. My son researched the issue and found that these brushes were worn down after fifteen months.We borrowed a set from a neighbor and ordered these to replace his and provide spares, which is essential out here. It doesn't make sense to go a week without power due to a brush costing $1.50. while we were waiting, the new brush failed due to buildup of the surface it rubbed against.The five pack turned out to be perfect in giving us two replacement and three spare brushes. Five minutes cleaning, installation of the new brush and I'm back to baking pumpkin bread in my convection oven.We ordered on Thursday and received on Monday. We could have gotten it sooner had my son not chosen default shipping by clicking Buy Now.The part arrived early in the day, which was a relief as several days of rain limited our solar collection.This is one of the preventive maintenance items we will definitely keep on hand and change annually.

This fit my B&S 7kW generator 030470-00. The brushes were worn and the original B&S part (209441GS) was no longer available. Giving it 4 stars because the new ones seem a little more cheaply made then the original, but seems to work ok. Original was white and leads were soldered. New one is black and leads seem stamped to connector tab.

I used these to replace the brushes in a 5000 watt generator (Husky brand). No issues. Packaging was fair, all 5 pieces were received undamaged.

Okay these things come all bunched up together. You buy 10 of them and maybe 6 to seven are actually usable. The rest are broken every time I bought these. If they package them better it would be nice but they're universal fit

Broke a brush while disassembling my Champion generator. The assembly fit precisely, but had to adjust the voltage down. Could do better packaging the 5 sets of brushes, some of the carbon brushes where chipped.
