NOT FOR BEGINNERS!!! I've done a lot of pre cut seat covers. Typically pre cuts either have the front or front and rear pre molded. These universal covers do not. They are a flat cut with no shape. Material is thick and pretty stretchy if you know what your doing. Took awhile for me to get it right but it fits tight with no wrinkles. If your a novice with this stuff just beware it can turn out pretty bad.

I love the way my seat came out but as you can see by my pictures I had to modify the seat cover. The material this seat cover is made of is strong ,durable and has good grip. The problem is it doesn’t stretch and is very difficult to work with. The seat I covered is KLX300 with modified seat foam. The foam had 2†cut out of it and was reshaped to lower seat height for shorter rider. If you look at pictures you can see how much seat curves up in front. That curve makes it hard to get cover tight and wrinkle free with some seat covers but with this seat cover it was impossible. What I ended up doing is cutting the center section out of this cover and sewing my own black rubber material on the sides. It’s a little bit of work but I actually think it looks better than original cover. If anyone else decides to do this I have Included picture of cutoff pieces. Those 2 pieces will become the pattern for whatever material you are attaching as sides. Make sure to leave center section a 1/4†to 1/2†bigger on both sides for overlap when stitching. Goodluck

Looks nice. Thick heavy cover. Not super flexible and a little bit slicker than expected. But a great deal

This material stretches similar to carhart jacket material… in which it doesn’t stretch very much at all. In order to keep tight to the seat near the upward transition towards gas tank you have to stretch the sides near the plastics really far.. and it’s not fun what so ever! I think I’m using 5/8 staples and it probably wasn’t long enough either because it’s just barely holding on. I put it over top the original leather, I couldn’t imagine trying to finagle this over bare foam. This size was perfect for ‘02 Honda xr70.
