TTmagic recliner handles replacement without cable fit most of the recliner furniture brand. Please check the original handle size before buying.
Only takes five minutes to install with a Phillips screwdriver and needle-nose pliers.
Firstly, remove the handle screws with a screwdriver from the side of the chair, gently pull/pry the broken handle assembly out.
Secondly, remove the handle and cable clip, notice exactly how the cable connects to the recliner handle.
Thirdly, replace the new handle and connect the cable with the clip.
Finally, replace the screws and complete the reclienr replacement easily!

Replaced broken plastic version of this mechanism on an Ashley Furniture recliner couch. This product is all metal construction. Easy to install, literally took only a few minutes. Works great!

The product is made of metal, and the replacement was a plastic handle - that is a huge plus, given its low price. It was easy to put into a recliner bought at Ashley's store five years ago. The replacement was easy - no need to turn the sofa over, just take out the two Phillips screws, take out the broken handle, remove the cable clip from the old handle, take out the cable, put it in the cable in the new one, put the cable clip that comes with the package as the old one may not be the right fit, screw it back, and you are in business. Just follow the instructions at the amazon site for the product under TTmagic. Before ordering, make sure it is the right fit

I was able to install this easily and get it to work; although it takes a little jiggling to get the foot part to go up. It is made of metal, so sturdier than the original plastic one.

Excellent product! Exactly as described! I love that it's all metal! My old one was plastic and needless to say it didn't go the distance. This one went in quickly and it looks like it's going to last.

So it was not the exact same one as the one it replaced, but it fit the hole perfectly and has the same handle, and it works to recline the couch regardless of the difference in the pull arm size. It is metal and feels much sturdier than the plastic one it replaced, and it is pretty much identical where it counts. Would highly recommend if you're replacing a handle on a couch like this.

I ordered the recliner handle to replace a broken plastic one in a chair that is about 8 years old. I was pleasantly surprised when the new recliner handle arrived and was made of metal and good quality. Should never have to replace again.

Better then the original! This one is made of metal rather than plastic. Dropped right in, works great! I bought several plastic versions and all failed in about a year. This is clearly an upgrade!
