I have a band and use a wireless mic system. The mics are wider that wired mics so they did not fit in the standard mic holders. These took care of the problem and now my wireless mics are held securely on the stands. Definitely worth the small investment!

The adapters came with brass fittings. Brass fitting make a tighter connection to the mic stand providing better stability when then mic is placed on the stand.

I liked that they are sturdy and the price was right! I use them for Karaoke!

If used for a vocal mic (pointed up) should work fine. Will not hold a sm57 facing down to mic drums.
