Did work for me. But the provided studs were useless! I used two 2†hex bolts through the wrench and BOOM! worked like a charm!

This harmonic balance installation tool is designed to keep the crankshaft pulley/harmonic balancer locked in place so it can be torqued to proper factory specs. This tool did a great job of securing the pulley when other methods had failed. It’s a very stout tool made from heavy gauge steel with a nice rubber coated handle grip. I was pleasantly surprised by the tools weight and quality when it arrived. For just about $15 you get a tool that will save you a headache in the garage and I’m 100% sure will last a lifetime. Ordered the tool to remove the crankshaft pulley on a WRX. That pulley bolt was over-tight from the factory and nothing could hold it in place to loosen the bolt. With this tool and a pipe to extend the handle I was able to break the bolt loose. Yes you will need to extend the handle if you use for holding a stubborn pulley. The thing did its job. And for the price ... can't beat the deal

Works fine with modification. Pegs were too short for my needs, so i used longer bolts with a nut to reinforce the bolts.
