It's easy to put on and take off, and it's visible and deters thieves. Our place had three cars stolen in one night recently, but they left our car alone, presumably because we had this visible device showing that they couldn't drive it off if they tried. Our neighbor lost his 37K truck and he was miserable. He was applauding my good sense to use this device. Do yourself a favor and make sure that car thieves don't take your car.

This steering wheel lock is very lightweight, easy to install, comes with multiple keys and storage bag. I have a lock for the brake pedal, but use this one too. It’s painted a bright yellow and is easy to see from the street. Hopefully my vehicle won’t be vandalized again.

at first, I really liked the sleek design of this, but immediately upon using you realize that it causes permanent deep dents in your steering wheel. They even include a crummy piece of foam to “fix†this problem. The glue from the foam piece might even tear a piece of leather off your steering wheel.

There are better device. but you'll pay plenty. This device is inexpensive and super easy to use. It's also small enough that it tucks out of the way easily. Pulling it up might defeat it, but after a few degrees it it the windshield. You might be able to crank it sideways until something gives, but you'll probably attract attention. The lock is pickable with the right tools, but a motivated thief could just tow your vehicle away and save themselves a lot of effort. "Just another COVID repo, concerned citizen".There's better, but this inexpensive unit is super simple to use, which means your family members are more likely to use it even if they're only going to be in the mall "a little while". And a crook might just decide that the vehicle next to yours is the easier target.
