This bracket works perfect for securing a water heater thermal expansion tank.I used the bracket on a 2 gal expansion tank, but it will accommodate up to a five gallon tank.Installing was straight forward and it includes screws if mounting to a wall surface where a stud is located. I mounted mine directly to the side of the water heater using short self-tapping metal screws that I had on hand.You can’t beat this option for the price. It’s a great, no-hassle way to properly and securely mount an expansion tank.
