This fit our Whirlpool WTW4800BQ0 we bought in late 2013 or early 2014. We had a very noisy spin cycle and the washing machine was moving wildly and we had trouble with the spin cycle. Once in a great while, the laundry was even coming out dripping wet like the spin cycle stopped running.These made for an easy install. It's a quick install. It's cheaper than a mechanic or new washer. The colors different, but an identical match otherwise. We were curious and squeezed the old bad and good new "springs" and felt a difference. Even once two were installed, we pushed on the basket and could feel our old rods were indeed bad. We did a second rinse and spin cycle with my towels, which always set the washer moving and clanging, as a test and the noises are the regular noises again (I forgot what they sounded like!) and so quiet again in comparison. It seems like it works faster without all the issues (has it been broken that long?) and we aren't bracing for impact and noise again and waiting for the neighbors to come knocking on the door of our apartment.The next door neighbor won't complain he hears our washer constantly off balance like it's our fault anymore. No more funny shifty eyes gif texts to my boyfriend when the washer starts rattling and moving anymore. My mom won't wake up from the noise when she stays the night anymore. My cats won't dart off terrified. This was an absolute quality of life improvement for us.The laundry just got done and it isn't dripping wet. This fixed our washing machine and is a fraction of the cost of a new machine so we can put our hard earned money elsewhere a few more years hopefully. Thank you so much!

Its not even worth the one star rating but they make you choose one, This product is useless, I changed from the original ones and it was worse than what it was, don’t even bother to buy, buy the original parts from Maytag or rebuilt the old ones which that’s what I did and it’s back to normal.

I replaced the rods Spring shocks .. one bushing was worn out and broken out of four. The new spring are OK but they’re not as heavy duty bushings like the original from my washing machine. So will see how long they last !!!!

I installed these rods as soon as I got them. It was easy enough for a self sufficient gal. They worked for a test load. Next day I tried a new load. It went back to shaking and the give was much worse than with my original rods. I remembered a review on here about the top cones. I decided to just push down the cones. The washer worked again for a test load. Next load shaking again. I'm gonna have to do what the review said and try acetone. It seems like a lot more work and babysitting than I want to do. Still I'm gonna try that to see if it keeps me from stopping and starting at every rinse cycle. I don't have any suggestions. Do your research. Decide how much time you want to invest or maybe you're lucky and they kept working. If so I'm jealous.

I normally don’t leave bad reviews because some people have better success with things than others. But I can’t leave this one alone. These were recommended for a Roper (and all other Whirpool manufactured vertical modular washers, the ones with 6 lights below the washer selector knob) by a repair video for an out of balance washer. . It may have even been an affiliate link, but a link directly to THIS item nonetheless . They are not it. They solved the problem for 2-3 washes until a load of sheets was put in. After that the problem was dare I say worse. Do yourself a favor and spend the extra $20 and buy the Whirlpool brand replacement parts as recommended by the videos with actual people in them fixing the things. It will save you $30 because you can’t return them because you already used and got rid of the packaging by the time you know it wasn’t right. The spring was weak, the spring was an inch shorter than the other. The bumpers that aren’t supposed to move easily slid around. Just save yourself the headache of fixing your washer twice.
