This dance mat is great for the younger set of Bout 6 to 8 years olds. Not as sophisticated as more professional mats, this gives loud clear sound and is fun to literally set up right out of the box. The lack of lights in the mat is a little disappointing as that would make it easier to play but the console has the lights and are easy to follow. It is fun for what it is and. Good value for the price.

My granddaughter loved her dance mat that I gave her for Christmas. I watched her and her friend play on it and it was adorable. Really cute gift!

DDR can be expensive to get invested in. Each DDR dance pad is expensive, then you need the game console, and then the game disc.This gives you a slice of the fun of DDR, but at a fraction of the cost.And more importantly, with near-zero setup time.Setting up DDR at a party is cumbersome and time consuming, while setting this up is a breeze.Of course it doesn't contain tons of licensed music like DDR does, but it's also a fraction of the cost.So if you're a parent planning a party and you want to add an activity the kids can do, this is a great option. Cheap, easy to set up, and you can set it up anywhere, unlike DDR, which dominates an entire living room and precludes anybody else from using the TV.6/10

My nieces played with this all day long. This is truly fun for little kids. My nieces laughed and had a good time trying to get the right timing.

This is made for two players making it perfect for parties. It is easy to setup and only needs batteries to use. This is a great gift idea.

Well, I can;t really add too much to what I'm seeing in the reviews except that I d wish this was bigger. It feels oddly small. Two little girls got to play with this tonight and they did keep busy for almost a half hour.We couldn't stay and listen honestly, after 15 minutes or so, but we heard them loud and clear from the next room.It's my opinion that the mat is just small. But the kids like it so I suppose that's the important thing.I would recommend this on that basis for certain!

I got this for my granddaughters birthday and it is a huge hit.it is easy to use and to set up. It gets pretty loud for having such a small speaker. It is a good size for 2 kids to play on and compete.They have a lot of fun and they get exercise and giggle a lot.This is great as a gift and great for kids birthday party.
