Works perfectly! The picture is of the original manufacturer part & you can see it matches this new product perfectly. Super easy install - took about 10 mins with no hiccups! If your Frigidaire affinity is having latch/closing/spinning problems, this part will probably fix it! So glad I tried this before buying a new washer!

I don't ever write reviews but this product was a life saver. My 'old' Frigidaire washer recently started shutting off early and would not complete the full spin cycle. I bought my unit secondhand for $100 so calling a repair tech and spending hundreds of dollars on spare parts was not justifiable. After some troubleshooting, I noticed i was getting the E47 code after running the diagnostic test which pointed to this part being the problem. $23, a quick how-to video, and 10 minutes later my washer is working perfectly!

My front load washer stopped working. It was just a bunch of blinking lights. I looked up the code, the 5 lights blinking number of times is the first number and the start is the second number. It said control panel not getting door switch. The door striker looked fine, I tried to wiggle the wires but it didn’t work. I bought this door switch. It was super easy to install with only a screwdriver. I am back in business. I am súper behind in my laundry though! You open the door, take off the metal ring that holds the rubber seal, peal back the seal just enough, unscrew the old door latch, take out the 3 plugs, put the new one in, attach the three plugs put in place and put back together. Don’t forget to unplug the unit first, or you can shock yourself. I hate when that happens.

Perfect replacement Part for Washer Door Latch Lock Lid Switch. Really impressed with the overnight delivery of this part from Amazon.Washing Machine stopped working on the spin cycle. The display would display PAU (Pause). The door lock LED did not illuminate.Searched issue on Google and found videos on You Tube showing how to remove the Washer Door Latch Lock Lid Switch. Another video shows how to test switch with OHM Meter. The video said the two-prong connector at the bottom should be about 1.6 k ohms. The one I took out reads 1.3k ohms. The comment on the video said that if higher or lower than 1.6k ohms replacing the switch solved the problem.Price for a replacement switch locally was $110.Ordered the switch from Amazon. Paid the extra for shipping overnight. Well worth it and the switch arrived at 7:00AM the next day.The new switch measured 1.9 k OHMs across the two-prong connector at the bottom of unit.Re-connected the three connectors. Reused the original 2 screws that hold the switch to the frame. Reattached the rubber door gasket that was pulled back to gain access to the switch. This is the process that took the longest and you want to avoid damaging. Lastly put the spring ring back in place.Washer Door closed properly, so did not need to change door latch.Reattached Washing Machine Power Plug. Started spin cycle, the door is locking as indicated by the door lock LED illumination and spin cycle completed.

The door latch installed easily and fit fine. The door prong is just long enough to work, but the door needs to be pushed tight to function. Good value item.

My washer would not start because the door latch was not locking properly. I looked up the issue on YouTube & found this was a common problem. I watched the step by step repair video, ordered this part as recommended and the problem was solved. The installation was not difficult if you follow the directions. I haven’t had any issues since replacing.

Original latch failed; got the dreaded Pause error code over and over, and had a washer full of wet clothes and water. Ordered on Friday, arrived on Sunday and 5 minutes later, we're back in business. We'll see how long it lasts, tho. This washer gets very little use - at a cabin we use during the summer. Hopefully it's durable. If not, next time I'll order the $90 and call it done.Updated 2/15/2021 - Originally a 5-star review - still working, but develops a really annoying BUZZ during the wash cycle. You have to get up and go press the door in tighter. Do not recommend unless you like getting up two or three times during each cycle to push the door in. Poor quality. Should've spent the extra $ and bought the OE version.

My Frigidaire washer wouldn’t spin on high cycle. After checking motor, motherboards, and old switch for electrical issues I found nothing wrong with wiring or connections. So I proceeded to purchase a new main control thinking that was the issue and was incorrect. Returned that component with a 30% restock fee so that was discouraging. After many hours of tinkering I found a small amount of corrosion on the wax motor that I believed was the culprit. After destroying the switch trying to solder .001†wire back together I purchased this product and it fixed my issue immediately. Though upon start up I smelled some “hot plastic†and looked to see what it could have been from the switch and it was not damaged. I believe it is normal considering there is a small amount of power delivered to the switch to keep it locked. I hope someone reading this can confidently fix their problem because I did a lot of unnecessary research to pinpoint my issue. This part is very easy to install just be sure to put some dielectric grease where connections meet.Best of luck and hope my review helps,Chip
