This is great. I love playing with new gadgets and this one is right up my alley. I use it to check the temperature of my electronic devices, food containers, walls, Windows etc. It works like a charm. No problems with accuracy either. I checked with a thermometer in water in a cooking container and it is the same from this. It picks up the temperatures right away. Super easy to use, fast, battery seems fine so far. Double A batteries for easy replacement. I'm happy with this for sure.

So I bought this thermometer to see if it would hold up to what the company says. And it did. I use it when I am melting gold. And I have to get to and hold the temp at 1063 degrees. The thermometer tells me the exact degree heat is at. With a laser that can stand back and get the temperature without having to be so close. The screen tells me all the info that I need. It's slick design fits my hand great. Also it cuts off after 30 seconds of non use to save batteries life. And the accuracy that it holds is not off a bit. Built out of great materials and no junk. The speed of when you pull the trigger and when the laser hits the heat is unbelievable fast. It also runs off 2 AAA batteries and batteries are included. I use mine all the time and it works well.

This item is 1 of the "exceptions" to "you get what you pay for".Though it's cheap, it's built quite well, ergonomic, included batts, accurate enough readings, screen is nicely backlit, very clear & easy to read. Simple buttons - I hate when stuff gets over complicated.2 cons - takes a little longer than I'd like to boot up & emit the laser upon 1st trigger press, & there's no adjustment on emissivity.

Pretty accurate for something so cheap, quite impressive if you consider how much such things used to cost for the most part a number of years ago. Definitely the best $10 ive spent for temperature related tools.

Easy to use, easy to read, good cosmetic appearance at the unimaginable price.Can be used to help cooking, checking the food and drinks temperature before serving.And the accuracy is definitely good enough for reference.If have to say something, it’s the beep.
