I swapped out my shifter bezel with this one (didn’t replace wires) and all issues were fixed. Took less than 3 minutes. Highly recommend.

This part saved me some money! I was able to install this myself and get rid of that pesky "service shifter" message for my 2017 Jeep Cherokee.

It appears the first bezel sent was a used old style and not the upgrade and had the R and D lights on after installation and a service shifter error. It was also sent with just the styrofoam packing and not the box. It was put into a a bigger box with 2 other items. The bezel display was just like my old one and the cable was attached to the module that was loose at the connector.The return was quick and easy. This time it was shipped in its own small box and the cable and bezel weren’t connected and the bezel display was slightly different than the old one.Installed and works great.

Surprisingly easy to install. Watch a YouTube video on how to install it, don't try and fiddle with it, just find a video, that easy.
