Pretty sturdy for the price. Very large and overall pretty well made. Very hard to find something better at this price point.

The Rain Barrel came well packaged and included all components needed to assemble the barrel - plus a pair of orange gloves and repair patches.Assembly was not difficult, but not easy either. While you can disassemble the barrel for transportation or storage, it will take some time (not a quick 5 minute job). The instructions could use some clarification too. Everything is documented, but you really need to read and understand all steps prior to assembly.Once assembled, the rain barrel looks nice. The main body is a thick material that should withstand the elements. It looks much better than the common 55 gallon blue barrels. The spigots and overflow appear to be good quality and work well. The middle spigot and overflow have a screen to filter out large debris. While the barrel included repair patches, no glue or instruction is given. I assume you would use rubber cement, but hopefully I will not need to use the patches. My main concern with the barrel is the top cover. The top is made from a different very thin material, with a drawstring to secure it to the barrel. I can see the drawstring and top material degrading in the sun over time.Overall it is an attractive barrel with features specific for water catchment. I just hope the top cover lasts though many days of sun.

This product has a "new" design that has a supporting ring at the bottom and another supporting ring at the top. This keeps the bottom in a circular shape and is convenient when setting up. However, i don't understand they we need the supporting ring at the top. It was hard to put together. What's worse is that there is no zippered top that is made of the same material as the wall. What is provided for the top now is a thin layer of fabric that is similar to a mosquito mesh. You can't really prevent anything heavy from falling in (think squirrels jumping on it and fall!). Sigh, I wish they have a half/half design where the bottom is the new with the supporting ring, and the top is the zippered cover.I bought two thinking these are better than the old design. Of course, by the time you set one up, it is nearly impossible to take it down and return. So I am returning only one. For the one I am keeping, I will need to invent a hard cover so I won't end up with a barrel of "stuff".

I got this for emergency water storage and am very happy so far. Super happy about the setup and footprint of this barrel. I have it setup in my shop next to other emergency items. I am see this being great for camping or boon docking. 100 gallons!!! I have no complaints about the build quality and usefulness of this product. It’s black so you’re going to heat up water when using outdoors but that can be a definite plus in the right environment. Storage is a breeze for those traveling or folks that just want water storage available.

"This review is for Rihogar Upgraded 100 Gallon Rain Barrel Water Tank - Portable Rain Water Collection Barrel - Large Water Storage Tank - Stable Water Barrels Rain Catcher with Spigot Overflow Kit, BlackThis is a pain to set up, but looks great one it's together. The instructions are a bit hard to follow, but I was able to piece it together in about 30 min. I liked that it looks firm ,but the lid is absolute crap. It's a thin film with a string to hold it onto the tank. I don't expect the lid to last more than 1 season, so I'm looking at alternatives. It's nice to have 3 different spouts on it though.NOTE: As an Amazon Vine reviewer, I receive this product without paying for it directly; however, I have to claim the full value of this product on my taxes as this counts as a taxable gift and I must pay taxes for the taxable value of this item."

While the item description is accurate, the documentation that accompanies the rain barrel is sorely lacking. While I consider myself an advanced DIY'er, assembling this was a real challenge. There are major discrepancies in the written instructions and the pictures that accompany them. Well into the assembly process, I figured this out and eventually used the pictures, as the written instructions would have prevented me from assembling this properly.I did get it assembled and will locate it in the yard where I can direct a downspout to it. As it's been quite dry, it could be some time before I get anything in it, but the material does appear to be quite substantail, so I expect it should be able to handle 100 gallons of water.

This 100 gallon flexible rain barrel is an outstanding option if you are getting into rainwater collection and want to save money on your storage containers. For 1/3 of the price of a rigid barrel with half the capacity, this is a great way to get started. The flexible material feels extremely durable. (time will tell how resilient it is). Assembly is easy enough, although the instructions are pretty terrible. (for example the instructions refer to the structural tubing as a “hose“, a “pipeâ€, and a “poleâ€â€¦confusing).Once assembled, it is easy to maneuver and transport wherever you need it. One note is that this needs to sit on flat ground, when in some use cases you might prefer to have your container raised off the ground for in order to leverage gravity to improve water pressure.Overall, as long as you know what you’re getting into, I highly recommend this flexible rain barrel to begin collecting the water that falls out of the sky for free!
