Hook for thread is not visible on 2 of the 3 in the set. On one the seam ripper keeps popping back in. It is very difficult to get the thread on the hook on all of them. Nice design and concept, but extremely poor construction. Very dissatisfied. Could not use them for a gift.

I have not been able to get the needle threader to work and the directions that came with it do not help. The seam ripper is ok but I wanted help with the threader. I am sorry I bought it.

I like the size, fits good in my hand. Seems like a neat gadget but I'm not sure I'll use the other end. Only thing I'm not sure about is the little plastic piece that you have to insert into the handle in order to use this device. I like to grab and go. I didn't realize this was a requirement to use it when i made the purchase. Lol.

Maybe this threader works for bigger needles, but if you need to thread a small embroidery needle, it's useless. I can't even position the needle well enough for the hook thingie to go through the eye of the needle. I'm able to use it if I don't insert the needle, but hang it right on the hook, and that totally defeats the purpose. There are other tools where you hang the needle that work better. Waste of money.
