About this item

  • 【UPGRADED SOLAR CONTROLLER】This solar charge controller helps you manage the working of solar panels and batteries in solar systems automatically with the build-in industrial microcontroller. You don't need to reset it when the battery runs out cause it will memorize various parameters set by the user
  • 【WIDE COMPATIBILITY BY AUTOMATIC ADAPTATION】Compatible with 12V and 24V systems (automatic adaptation, depends on your systems's voltage, no manual adjustments required). A little amplitude voltage deviation is normal. You can also charge your mobile phone, tablet, and PC through the Dual USB output 5V/2.5A (max)
  • 【COMPATIBLE BATTERY TYPE】This solar controller is ONLY suitable for various Lead-acid batteries (including open, sealed, colloid, etc.) Please DO NOT charge to lithium or nickel-metal hydride batteries, etc. Auto-recognizing battery voltage function can protect the battery from misuse and better control the charging process. Note: When installing the controller for the first time, please ensure the battery is fully charged to recognize the battery type correctly
  • 【SAFE TO USE】With Intelligent protection against overcurrent, short-circuit, open-circuit, inverse, low voltage, and overcharge, all of which are automatic recovery types, do not damage the controller. It also has a dual MOS anti-backflow circuit and low heat. This 30A solar charge controller will help you improve the system efficiency and prolong the battery life. But still note to install the controller on a flat, well-ventilated surface
  • 【LCD DISPLAY】Let you know the working status and data with the LCD. The regulator equips load time control and a manual setting function, so you can switch modes and configure parameters conveniently. A good choice for use at home, industrial, commercial, etc. See the instruction manual for specific parameter settings and adjustment methods
  • 【HOW TO CONNECT THE SYSTEM?】When installing, please install the battery first and then connect the solar panel. When disassembling, first remove the solar panel and then the battery. Please connect the devices as the instruction manual shows or the system may be damaged by misuse
  • 【BUY WITH CONFIDENCE】12-month guaranty and technique support. If there is any problem, please contact us through Amazon email

Product Description

Something You Need to Know !

Pre-sales

1. It can ONLY work with Lead Acid Batteries: OPEN, AGM, GEL. NOT for Nickel Metal Hydride, Lithium ions, or other batteries.

2. The PWM controller can ONLY accept DC power and is unsuitable for AC power.

3. Max.PV Voltage: 50V (12V battery for 15-23V solar panel, 24V battery for 30-46V solar panel).

4. Max.PV Input Power: 390W(12V), 780W(24V).

5. Compatible connecting wires: The connecting port has a large section and spacing that can install 6mm wire. (The wire is NOT included).

6. The PWM controller does not have a constant voltage function, and the load end output of the controller cannot remain between 12-13V.

7. Do not support viewing how much amps you're getting off your solar panel.

Sales Questions

Q1: Why is it can not get a display of 13.2volt? 18volt solar panel voltage, 12volt lead acid battery(good battery), followed exactly the instructions listed, but it displays 12.5volt only.

A1: Please check the battery voltage. If the battery is fully charged, it will display 14.4 volts.

Q2: When l hook up the solar, it does not show charging. When I put a meter on the controller solar input, it shows the polarity is reversed. Could this be a mistake in how the unit was connected internally?

A2: Yes. In this case, please check if the battery is correctly connected to the solar controller.

After-sales Service

12-Month After-sales Service and lifetime technique support. If there is any problem, you can get more help from us through Amazon email.

We are getting great performance from this mppt controller. Installed a 200 watt panel and we’ve had days that were cloudy all day yet this controller is getting plenty for the batteries. Ordered a second to replace the controller on our portable panels it has worked so well

Works well, although not efficiently, with 12v panels. It's easy to use although has no setting for Li batteries. I use one for 12v LiFeP battery and it works fine. You can set the voltage for charge and float. USB outlets control voltage at 5.1 v regardless of battery volts (anything from 10.5 to 14 on mine). Worth the price for the controlled USB voltage from a 12v battery.

Product is functioning fine. But for me I liked the color indicators. The item doesn't light up to see that everything is functioning.I panic not seeing how much energy. Also no way to monitor it on the phone.

Does not always detect correctly if the battery is 12v or 24v, so tries to overcharge a 12v battery. USB ports don't work and smell like burning when connected. Not useful for unattended use!

A beautiful little controller that works well and is more than affordable. The two USB ports are my favorite feature. I use one to drive a 24x7 meshtastic transceiver and the other as a phone charger.I paired this with a simple 25 watt solar panel and a 10Ah battery and am really happy with my whole setup.

I bought a few like this ~10 years ago, couldn’t find the same listing, so I purchased this one - and they work, but they are not great:Pros: it works to put solar electrons into batteriesCons: the volt meter display isn’t that accurate, it’s only really 0.3VDC off, but one of them is off by +0.3, one of them is off by -0.3, which is more of a nuisance than anything, but it’d be better if it were consistent — additionally, it may charge the battery poorly based on being off by that much, overcharging or never fully charging, not dangerously, but enough to degrade the battery early. The load on-off button press is very inconsistent, again, mostly a nuisance, but it can’t be set-and-forget due to that, and the 10-yrs-ago version still works betterFor $10-ish ea, they’re worth the money if you have a very simple setup, or need one-per-battery for balancing, but if you need a higher reliability setup, this might not be for you

Put in service three days ago with one 50ah lithium battery running a DC water pump and radio. Working perfectly so far. Only criticism: print is way too small on dinky operating sheet.

I brought 4 of these for caravan and shed installations, they are light, small and very well made. they have a metal backplate with a thermal strip on the internals to aid in heat dissapation. dispite the products vague description. i installed these with 265W solar panels with a peak of 30.5v and it has no issue charging and maintaining a 12v leisure battery. the battery charges at around 14v and will then when full will alternate between charging and standby.i have not used the load connections since this is not needed for any of my setups. make sure to follow the advice of connecting the battery before connecting the solar panels as this will set the brain to ensure it does not over charge/provide too much voltage to the battery if connected the wrong way.this has been running now for 2 weeks. i have 2 12v 105Ah batteries wired in parallel to produce 12v 210Ah and this pwm has worked flawlessly for my use. you can use the settings to reduce or increase the float coltage (max voltage used to charge a battery) you can also change the timings of the load circuit, and decide at what voltage the circuit will work on, so if the battery falls below 10v you can have it stop supplying to the load circuit.for the price, this is a fantastic bit of kit that will set you up for a small solar install!
