We are getting great performance from this mppt controller. Installed a 200 watt panel and we’ve had days that were cloudy all day yet this controller is getting plenty for the batteries. Ordered a second to replace the controller on our portable panels it has worked so well

Works well, although not efficiently, with 12v panels. It's easy to use although has no setting for Li batteries. I use one for 12v LiFeP battery and it works fine. You can set the voltage for charge and float. USB outlets control voltage at 5.1 v regardless of battery volts (anything from 10.5 to 14 on mine). Worth the price for the controlled USB voltage from a 12v battery.

Product is functioning fine. But for me I liked the color indicators. The item doesn't light up to see that everything is functioning.I panic not seeing how much energy. Also no way to monitor it on the phone.

Does not always detect correctly if the battery is 12v or 24v, so tries to overcharge a 12v battery. USB ports don't work and smell like burning when connected. Not useful for unattended use!

A beautiful little controller that works well and is more than affordable. The two USB ports are my favorite feature. I use one to drive a 24x7 meshtastic transceiver and the other as a phone charger.I paired this with a simple 25 watt solar panel and a 10Ah battery and am really happy with my whole setup.

I bought a few like this ~10 years ago, couldn’t find the same listing, so I purchased this one - and they work, but they are not great:Pros: it works to put solar electrons into batteriesCons: the volt meter display isn’t that accurate, it’s only really 0.3VDC off, but one of them is off by +0.3, one of them is off by -0.3, which is more of a nuisance than anything, but it’d be better if it were consistent — additionally, it may charge the battery poorly based on being off by that much, overcharging or never fully charging, not dangerously, but enough to degrade the battery early. The load on-off button press is very inconsistent, again, mostly a nuisance, but it can’t be set-and-forget due to that, and the 10-yrs-ago version still works betterFor $10-ish ea, they’re worth the money if you have a very simple setup, or need one-per-battery for balancing, but if you need a higher reliability setup, this might not be for you

Put in service three days ago with one 50ah lithium battery running a DC water pump and radio. Working perfectly so far. Only criticism: print is way too small on dinky operating sheet.

I brought 4 of these for caravan and shed installations, they are light, small and very well made. they have a metal backplate with a thermal strip on the internals to aid in heat dissapation. dispite the products vague description. i installed these with 265W solar panels with a peak of 30.5v and it has no issue charging and maintaining a 12v leisure battery. the battery charges at around 14v and will then when full will alternate between charging and standby.i have not used the load connections since this is not needed for any of my setups. make sure to follow the advice of connecting the battery before connecting the solar panels as this will set the brain to ensure it does not over charge/provide too much voltage to the battery if connected the wrong way.this has been running now for 2 weeks. i have 2 12v 105Ah batteries wired in parallel to produce 12v 210Ah and this pwm has worked flawlessly for my use. you can use the settings to reduce or increase the float coltage (max voltage used to charge a battery) you can also change the timings of the load circuit, and decide at what voltage the circuit will work on, so if the battery falls below 10v you can have it stop supplying to the load circuit.for the price, this is a fantastic bit of kit that will set you up for a small solar install!
