I like how simple it is.play my music from my phone through my speakers. Really nice for an older truck without a Bluetooth stereo. If someone calls while music is playing just push the button, music lowers in volume and I have hands free conversation though my speakers. And the price was awesome on Amazon. 40 or 50 bucks at local stores.

I have three vehicles in my household that don't have bluetooth capabilities. I purchased one of these to try it out and it was an easy set up. I found a channel on my radio that was empty, turned the transmitter to the same channel, connected bluetooth from my phone & turned on my music from my phone. I played my pandora & did have to increase the volume but it played! I had someone call me & my phone rang through the car speakers. I pushed the answer button on the transmitter & easily answered the call & the caller could hear me. I do recommend you set one of the presets on your radio to the corresponding channel so if you are listening to your actual car radio channel & you get a call, you can easily push the preset radio channel & answer a call. I liked this transmitter so much, I bought another for another vehicle. For my third vehicle, the cigarette lighter space was too tight, due to there being a door over the lighter area, so I had to purchase a different type. I bought one of the gooseneck types with a screen on it, and it also works well. I haven't traveled outside of my local area yet with this and can only assume that I'll need to change the corresponding radio channels, due to the fact that radio stations change from city to city, but it is relatively easy to do. This is a cheap and pretty good solution for anyone with an older vehicle, particularly since states are making "hands free" laws now.

I'd give this bad boy 10 stars if I could! I drive a 2007 Lexus GS and for some reason the car's bluetooth does not include audio, only voice calls. So for the past 2 years, I've had the cassette AUX in order to listen to Spotify via my phone. Well with the cassette comes the annoying winding noise - which I hate! Fortunately, I check out Amazon's daily deals which led me to finding this product. I just installed it yesterday, which was super easy. And now the sound system in my car really shines! Gone is is that awful winding noise & extra cords. Now I can easily come and go without having to plug in (unless I need to charge, which I can still do). Gone is that tiny Apple AUX to lightening cord. No longer will I try to find a splitter (which NEVER works) so I can listen & charge at the same time. I was blown away by the quality of sound and the price of this product.So if you're struggling like I was trying to modernize an older car, just go ahead and purchase this. You'll be happy you did!

This FM transmitter is hood . It connects to my iPhone automatically every time I get in my car. And it verbally tells you that it is connecting, and then tells you it is connected. I’m using it in a 2004 Mustang. Sounds great with my factory Mach 460 sound system. The only negative is the bright blue led light that goes around the top edge. I drive to work in the dark in the mornings and it was too bright for me so I used a black paint marker on the blue light strip. In the daytime the blue was fine. I would definitely recommend this. I bought it a few months ago and wanted to give it a good amount of use before I wrote my review. It connects to phone easier than a couple other ones I’ve owned over the past 10 years. I bought this one because it was compact and I liked the location of the buttons to go to next song and previous song. I have not tried this device to make or receive calls on so I cannot comment on that feature. I bought it solely to play my iPhone music on my car stereo. Volume level was very good, but in my case my car stereo is powerful so if there was any drop in volume it would not have affected me. I honestly don’t know if there is a drop in volume because I never switch to a different radio station. I always play music from my iPhone.

Its just a normal part of life now. It sounds as good as radio or maybe better since it doesn't have static.

This product was not quite as advertised. It’s an easy to use product, it paired with my iPhone effortlessly, and it outwardly appears to be well made. However, regardless of which FM frequency it’s tuned to, this device creates and sends to the car stereo an audible and distinct level of background static. Also, to hear the music streaming from my iPhone, had to turn the volume on the phone to max and also adjust the volume on this device to max (listed on the display as “U30â€). Even at this, the volume coming through the car stereo was only about three-quarters as loud as what was being heard from any regular radio station. Finally, the dynamic range of this device was highly restricted compared to any of the real FM radio stations (in other words, it sounds flat dull). The dynamic range, however, may be the inherent performance of the lossy Bluetooth format. Given that this is a less than $20 product, can (for now, at least) live with this reduced audio performance, but it leaves MUCH to be desired. Am not sure if I can live with it long-term, however. Time will tell.

This is an amazing device. Simply follow the instructions, "Adjust FM Frequency" to match it with an open FM radio frequency. It paired with my cell phone and set up very quickly. The sound quality is as good as listening to an FM station with a very good signal. Each time I get into my car with my cell phone, the device immediately recognizes my phone and prepares to receive the signal once I start my MP3 player App. I would have expected a device like this to have cost a great deal more than the $15.99 listed price.Today I loaded some MP3 files onto a usb flash drive and plugged it into the "Read U disk slot. The device automatically played the music through my car speakers as if my 1999 Mazda Miata had been equipped with some of the latest audio technology. It appears the device will recognize a variety of music sound formats as advertised.
