Works great… but the blade is part plastic, don’t know how long it will hold up. Battery life is good for one trimming

Purchased this for my 2 poodles to help trim up their paws! Works great and doesn’t cause any issues with my dogs. I love how the trimmers are super small making it easy to clean up around their paw pads!

I bought this to trim my shitzu. It works so well and they don’t fight me with this as they have others because it doesn’t vibrate on their skin! I recommended it to my sister and a friend they both also love it! My sister is using it in a Bernadoodle and he hates any type of home grooming but rests quietly while she trims his pads with it. I’ll purchase this again and again if needed! 10 stars!!!

First off, I’ll give the reason that I ordered this paw trimmer as it may help the reader to determine whether or not it’s the best choice for them. I have a giant breed dog that has yeast problems with her paws which causes them to be red & tender. I keep her thick fur trimmed to apx 1/4 inch on them but wanted to be able remove the majority of fur for best air circulation. I thought that the tiny sized clipper blade would make it easier to really get between her tender toes well. That said, the clipper is very quiet, the light is very helpful, the blade never became hot and the battery lasted a long time. The problems that I had with it were pretty much the same things that were helpful. The small size made it so that it frequently needed to be cleaned out. There was only one speed - very slow which made it take a long time to cut the fur. Then again, I was pleased that it eventually trimmed all the hair from her paws and the blade stayed sharp. I would have been much happier if it had contained any sort of blade changing instructions but it doesn’t. It appears to me that you will need a very tiny Phillips head screwdriver to change out the blades. However I am very happy that it came with an extra blade & guard. I hope that this review will help you determine if it will work well for you.
