Rating 5 star because it is nice and finally something deep enough to prevent bending the pinch weld. But it is really big, and my fault for not checking before ordering. Too big to fit between plastic molding and the pinch weld, or the under pan on the inside of the pinch weld. Will have to find a way to trim the diameter.

Seems great so far. It’s soft enough to give some grip but hard enough to not deform under the weight. The option for two different pinch weld depths is nice. It is not too big in diameter so it should fit without interfering with underskirts just fine. A very good buy.

I ordered this thinking it would fit without modification. Well, it turns out it didn’t. When I placed it on my jack’s saddle, I could quickly see that it was just a little off. Could I have avoided this? Apparently I could have since the dimensions were included in the listing. I guess it was time to put on my big boy pants and fix the predicament myself.To make this fit, I set my table saw about ¼-inch from the fence, with about a cut depth of 3/8-inch. I then just spun the jack pad against the fence so the saw would cut my little groove around the edge. Did that work? Yes and no. I solved the issue with the diameter, but there is a spot in the center of my jack’s saddle that protrudes more than the rest of the saddle floor. Now what?!? I needed to take a little out from the middle of the jack pad so that it could sit flat. To do used a palm router set just deep enough to make room for that center hump in my saddle. It was messy, but it got the job done.I didn’t deduct any stars since the jack pad does its job well. The dimensions in the listing are accurate (3.9-inches x 1.8 inches), but that was obviously converted from metric (10 cm x 4.5 cm). Had I measured my saddle, I could have easily seen that this would be a tad large.I can now lift the car with my floor jack and not worry about damaging the paint around those jacking points.

This is a great addition to our floor jack. Some of our family's cars have large pinch welds and hubby needs to avoid damaging the car when jacking them up. He’s probably too old to be still working on cars but it's good to trade services with the young ones for their help with electronics. This is made out of a hard material that should stand the test of time. It has two different depths so you can choose the right one for a car or a truck. Simple good quality item that makes life easier in the garage.

Good sturdy jack pad for lifting on the body pinch weld. This pad is wide so for the new cars that have plastic underbody covers with openings just for the jack pads, it may be too big. I had to wedge mine in the open space. It just fit in there on a Hyundai Santa Fe.
