This compact chair is easy to carry, not sure it's super sturdy but it's perfect for what we need. We will be walking a long distance at an event that has no chairs and instead of cutting the day short these will give us rest in between so we can carry on.

This stool is seriously tiny but it weighs almost nothing. It unfolds and is ready for sitting in a matter of seconds. This would be good for backpacking and can double as a small table and a chair. It supported all 160# of me when I stood on it with one foot (there really isn't space for two!)

So, although it's short and heavy, I initially liked this chair. Says it's rated to 400lbs so I assumed that's what the extra weight in the metal was about.I'm a 6ft 300lb guy. I use these types of chairs at work when I'm working low for long periods. My old chair (different brand) lasted about 9months until the fabric started to rip. This chair did not last a week.I sat it in today and it bent and my butt hit the ground. Maybe it wasn't locked in position all the way, but I had been sitting in it fine previously, got up to get a tool and fell when I sat back down.I'm returning it and trying a different brand. No harder to assemble than any other chairs of this type.

It’s small and compact, I used it for sitting at bus stops… the uses are limited by the elastic band inside of it that fell apart after a couple of months.

It is exactly what is advertised, a tough little folding stool. It is not really comfortable for long term sitting, but its perfect for little adventures. My s/o gets random dizzy spells and needs to sit for a bit, this little stool fits in my backpack perfectly and offers a better option than the ground without being high enough for falling off to be dangerous.

Honestly, I just wanted a little/cheap hassock/footrest for my home office, and this does the job pretty nicely. It doesn't take a lot of space, and I can prop my feet up under a table without really worrying about unnecessary occupied space that "furniture" would take up.It has an interesting mix of puzzle-style collapsibility combined with sturdiness for purpose when (easily) assembled. The puzzle-style is "easy" in the sense that the pieces are guided by elastic bands. One can't get the assembly wrong without effort in opposition. That is, the elastic bands guide the assembly together, and it would take some doing against what the elastic is trying to do to get the assembly wrong. But likewise, the disassembly to fold down isn't hampered by the internal elastic, either. Further, once disassembled, there is yet another permanently attached elastic loop that can be used to help hold the whole stool together. The cloth seat seems really sturdy, and the pocket is a convenient addition. As a chair to sit on, I don't recommend it for long periods, but it does keep your butt off the ground, albeit a few inches lower than a standard chair might, which may increase the difficulty to get up from a seating position. Yes, still better as a foot stool. I suppose one might consider it as a table, but I wouldn't recommend anything requiring a flat, level surface, unless placing say, a cutting board atop the stool. Admittedly, this is also many times a pertinent point (not being flat, level) with regard to chairs.I was considering either this or one of those plastic-expandable chair/stools -- you know, the ones that resemble an upside-down version of one of those collapsible pill cups -- and definitely would have gotten the plastic stool if I wanted a step stool or a table as an option.Overall, if this is the style and feature of stool that appeals to you, there's really nothing functional about the stool I can determine that I, personally, would warn against from purchasing it.

The char is a bit short but . . . when you think about it, having a chair when you are hiking, fishing or in a long line somewhere, super valuable. This chair is so small when you fold it up that you can have several in your backpack

I can say this much, best purchase ever. I take it every where at work when I need to sit down where there's no chairs in site.
