The old Jack on my Trailer was starting to have issues, and this new one replaced it just fine. Installation wasn't an issue at all, but it's not an incredible piece of engineering. Some heights are clearly harder to crank through than others. Hoping it smooths out over time.

I need to buy a new jack wheel every other year for my jet ski, so I'm familiar with these types of jacks. I live in a humid environment and they just rust away. I recently bought a garden trailer from HD and wanted to replace the jack it came with because, even at its shortest, I would scrape the wheel when going over changing terrain. These types of jacks you can rotate to make flush with the mounting steel. First time ordering this one from this company. I only did it because it was black to match the trailer. Kind of silly reason, but I'm glad I did. It does seem to have thicker metal and is more robust than the other ones I've ordered for the jet ski. So far so good. My initial impression is that it is better quality than the $50 jacks I've always purchased for my jet ski trailer. So, ya, a bit more expensive, but it does seem worth it for now. We'll see going forward. Maybe I'll use it next time for my jet ski trailer.
