This was bought for an above ground pool. Before this I'd been using another type of pool vacuum with a small motor and it could only suck up a small amount of debris before needing to be emptied. I finally had enough and went searching for a new one and came across this! I saw other pool vacuums for $100-$300 and was at first skeptical since this was so cheap. Trust me everyone - THIS VACUUM ROCKS!It's so easy to set up, and all you need to do is connect your garden hose to it and turn on the water to the hose, that's it! It's got brushes on the bottom that do a good job and the suction this thing has is amazing. It easily sucks up leaves, debris, dirt, bugs, etc and the bag holds a LOT of debris before needing to be changed.With my old vacuum it'd take me sometimes 30-45 minutes if my pool was very dirty. I've used this vacuum twice now and I did my entire pool in about 7 minutes. It's fantastic.I saw a couple other reviews saying debris still escapes the bag but I did not find this to be true for me. The bag has tiny holes but I didn't find anything escaped. It worked wonderfully. I highly recommend this vacuum!

When I opened this product, I almost didn't even try it. It looked like a piece of junk. Thankfully I did because even though it's not made particularly well, it works GREAT. I'm still not sure why. It picks up all debris from the bottom of the pool. It's a little tedious to use since the head is pretty small and it's a bit of a hassle hooking it up to the hose which, in our case, is quite a distance from the pool. But it's definitely worth the money.

My pool came with a little vacuum but it didn’t work well so I’ve been looking for a good one. I was going to buy a robot vacuum but i didn’t wanna spend the money because the reviews were like half and half so i decided i would get this and this took me like 20 minutes to clean my pool and it was spotless! I would definitely recommend this vacuum it’s small but it’s perfect for an above ground pool mine is 48 by 18. Great value for your money and very easy to use just put it together and start cleaning.

This is perfect! Sucked up sand. Medium size debris and even leaves. I am so happy I gave this a try. I was considering buying a different type of vacuum that uses suction by covering a hole with a thumb, but at over $50 I was a bit concerned it would take forever to clean our spa. I was able to clean our spa in less than 3 minutes without having to empty the bag. I was so impressed that I decided to clean the steps in the pool. The handle works ok, but feels flimsy. I will use my regular net pole to use it. One word of caution is if your hose pressure is weak, this vacuum may not work too well. Luckily my water pressure is strong and the vacuum worked perfectly! I highly recommend this!!!

A little smaller than I thought, but I can clean a 13’ foot pool without getting in. It’s nice that it works with just a simple garden hose and you have two different bags for collecting different size particles. Of course it can be used with a long suction hose, but that might collapse a pop up pool. If I’m in the pool I can get anything floating around even on top. You can scrub the sides and bottom and keep the algae down. Prolly would get something bigger for full frame pools, but great for any kiddie pool you want to keep clean.

It does the job, but not well. It’s easy to use. It doesn’t pick up dirt but does get bugs and leaves. I would invest in something different.

I purchased this pool suction with high hopes, but unfortunately it’s not for me. Firstly, although the size of the suction is decent and it's fairly lightweight, the suction power is disappointing. It’s extremely weak and struggles to pick up even small debris, which largely defeats the purpose of having it.Another major issue is with the debris bags. Debris does not stay inside the bags as it should, constantly escaping and resettling back into the pool. This is incredibly frustrating and renders the cleaning process ineffective.Also it has a tendency to fill the pool with water during use way too quickly, which is an unexpected downside. This not only wastes water but also makes maintenance more cumbersome.On the positive side, the device is quite easy to use, with a straightforward hose connection and a design that's easy to handle. However, these benefits are overshadowed by its inability to perform its primary function.In the end, despite its ease of use, I find I must return this product because it simply doesn't help in keeping my pool clean and even adds more water to it.

The only problem is it would be better if you had water shutoff near the vacuum. I ended up adding one.

Hoovers up everything from the pool bottom with great suction. Can be a little bit awkward at times maneuvering the hose+vaccum pole in tandem but overall this little device works great. Keeps your pool clean and refills water lost to evaporation at the same time!

Works well but the handle is flimsy and the knobs that hold it together break off so be careful as you will cut your hands if you don’t notice.
