A piece broke on the top rack of my dishwasher three days before extended family members were due to arrive, and the top rack was essentially rendered useless. The local appliance store was going to charge $27 for one tiny piece (about 1" x 2") that may or may not have fixed the problem. A neighbor said I should check Amazon for a whole top rack repair kit, and the rest is history! The kit arrived two days later for only around $22 and free shipping, and my awesome neighbor was able to fix the top rack in the morning prior to my company arriving that same afternoon.

Easy to install as someone with little repair experience, fits great, I’ve been using it in my dishwasher which I run at least every other day and it’s held up very well for the past month.

I ordered and installed this product in October 2024 and it failed very quickly by breaking into pieces on both sides of the basket in January 2025. This product is not made of strong enough plastic. As a replacement for this waisted purchase, I searched for the Original Equipment Manufacturer's (OEM) parts, I paid a little more for the OEM part, but it is partially made out of stainless steel at the same point where this product failed so quickly. Save yourself the time and money and just buy OEM from either Kenmore or Whirlpool.

Works as expected. The only obstacle was that the rollers were not the same size as the original rollers, so swapped out the rollers. All good.

I bought these in March 2023 to replace the factory original ones that had a broken clip that held the roller to the rack. These worked decently well (not as good as the factory ones) for about 8 months. Then in December one of the plastic pieces that adjusts the height of the top rack broke causing the rack to fall to its lowest position. I was able to zip tie it up to the higher position we keep the rack in and that lasted for about two more weeks until the plastic on the other side of the rack broke. The plastic is not durable enough for daily use of the dishwasher.We run the dishwasher an average of once per day and typically load cups and plastic items on the top rack and the heavier ceramic and glass things on the bottom rack. We use the sensor wash cycle with heated dry and don't usually use the sanitize or extra hot cycles (Just a few times total in the last year). It is possible that using the sanitize/extra hot cycle compromised the plastic, however since the product is designed and marketed for a dishwasher that has these cycles, it should be able to handle all the modes available.I do not recommend this kit for repairing the top rack of your dishwasher if you use it daily. If you only occasionally use the dishwasher and/or never use the sanitize cycle then this product might work OK for you.

These parts lasted a few months until I had to replace them. When they were stable they worked great but my hard water eventually degraded them. The quality of the plastic is mediocre. I would spend the extra money for a higher grade otherwise you'll have to purchase new ones sooner than you'd like.

El producto llegó tal cual descrito y las instrucciones para cambiar las piezas las encontré en Youtube con mayor detalle de lo que se explicaba en la página. Esto fue muy importante puesto que las piezas tienen determinada "maña" para poder retirarlas.Es triste que ni el propio servicio de soporte de Kitchen Aid y/o Whirlpool tuvieran estas piezas disponibles. Una vez que identifiqué los números de parte, ya encontrarlas en Amazon no fue problema.Desgraciadamente las piezas siguen siendo totalmente de plástico (como las originales) pero espero que por lo menos duren otros 5 añosREVISIÓNUna de las piezas se quebró a los 8 meses de instalada. Tuve que buscar otra pieza de otra marca que menciona un polimero mejorado. Vamos a ver.

Edit 17 janvier 2024 : les deux ont finalement brisés au niveau du support des roulettes. Prevoyez acheter des roulettes avec une vis en métal à la place.A noter que sur l'image de gauche les roulettes blanches d'origine sont plus grosses mais ceux de remplacement (photo de droite) qui sont plus petites fonctionnent parfaitement aussi. Payé 42$ pour 2. Je le sais qu'il y a de moins cher mais tant qu'en acheter une fois, vaut mieux payer plus cher pour être sûr.
