Got this to replace a fried Parallax converter. Parallax replacement is simply not cost competitive. Did a quick workbench test before installing just to know it was not dead on arrival. Proved to be a very easy swap-out. No mods required to make it fit. Did more testing after install to become confident with the various charging phases (lead acid chemistry). Verified that the cooling fan runs as it should. Nice and quiet for my test that began with batteries starting at about 70 percent capacity. Can’t yet test lithium modes though but hope to convert in the future. Have only been running it for a couple days so far. So obviously no data to contribute about reliability. Will do a three week road trip field test next month so I’ll plan to submit an update if I encounter any problems.

Was a little different than the one I pulled out. Very close; But was a direct replacement and worked perfectly. I had to trim a 16th away for the plastic to seat and align the factory retaining screws and this one had the fan on the opposite side. It did not matter though. Overall a good fix.

The item seems to work okay. Too early to tell about the reliability. The reason for three stars is the neutral and the hot (load) wires are reversed. White is hot and black is neutral. I cut, reversed and spliced them as close as I could to the circuit board. Why they knowingly sell a device with such a potentially dangerous flaw is odd. So if you get one of these PAY ATTENTION TO THE 120V POWER CONNECTIONS!!

Customer had an older trailer and the fan wouldn't ever shut off but had proper voltage output.Replaced her old battery but that didn't stop the old converter from working too hard all the time.The old battery probably wiped out the old converter, but this new one fit perfectly and works super quietly.She's super happy!

Bought a used RV and the converter smoked before our first trip. Ended up charging the battery with my solar panel. This unit was plug and play. Fits perfectly in the slide out slide in slot under the breaker panel. Quiet and no issues during second camping trip. Battery was charged up to 13v . I checked it with a multimeter with battery disconnected. Very satisfied

Replaced burned out converter in travel trailer. No complications on install. Simple change out. Be sure to unplug power to trailer and disconnect battery power before doing this
