These stick to the ceiling (so much so that you have to accept that you are ruining your ceiling) but they DO NOT stick to the foam acoustic tiles which they are recommended for. So my ceiling is covered in these black stickers but the tiles don't stay up. I used these a year ago and THOSE worked (mostly). I re-oredered to put up more acoustic tiles, but this time they do not work AT ALL.

We used these to hang up sound deadening panels in my son’s room. The panels are super lightweight but the adhesive on the 3M pads doesn’t seem to stick very well. They keep falling off of the wall. It could be that the wall is textured and maybe they would stick better on a more flat surface. Overall I think the quality of the pads are pretty good.

I recently purchased the UPINS 120 Pack Double Sided Foam Tape for my DIY projects, and it's a mixed bag. The quantity is generous, with 120 foam pads in total, making it a cost-effective choice for various applications. The square shape and customizable size of each pad (40 mm x 40 mm) provide flexibility, and the 3 mm thickness offers a decent level of elevation. The adhesive strength of these foam pads is commendable, successfully bonding materials like wood, metal, glass, and plastic. I appreciated the straightforward application process outlined in the instructions. However, I encountered an issue when attempting to adhere them to foam sound insulation boards – the material just didn't stick as securely as expected. While the UPINS Foam Tape serves its purpose well for most general applications, its limitations on certain surfaces, like foam boards, hold it back from a higher rating. If your projects involve diverse materials with flat hard surfaces, this tape will likely meet your needs, but be mindful of its compatibility with foam-based materials.

Everything is exactly as promoted, no deceit at all. It's a bit pricey but totally worth it. It really made my task easier and neat. Seriously guys, this foam tape is totally safe and easy to use. Thanks seller and Amazon for your services... Att: George

The product itself is package very conveniently and is easy to remove and it doesn’t leave any residue which is really great however the adhesive is really bad it doesn’t stick or adhere to what you need it to. I used it to help hold up a power strip with cables and I do understand that cables are heavy however are I used 10 of them thinking OK that’s gonna be enough but no it was not. Didn’t even hold for a few seconds. I had to use a nail to hold it up. So I can excuse it a little maybe it’s just that the cables are too heavy I do understand that, however I did use it for a hook to hang up towels and it still didn’t stay on my door with the hook, i used it to help some thick cables in palace horizontally, did it stay??? NOPE. It’s really disappointing that it didn’t work because like I said the squares itself they’re easy to cut, and it’s easy to take off the little papers and when you take it off of things it doesn’t leave residue and even though it feels really sticky like it’s gonna work it doesn’t which is upsetting but I guess maybe it will work on other things? Not sure what, I understand that it might be used with other materials with other projects and it might work perfectly however it shouldn’t be advertised to work like it’s gonna hold up things really strongly

The adhesive works, the problem is where it actually decides to stick if that makes sense lol. Living in florida it's very humid so that may explain why the adhesive comes undone... so to explain in full detail, these are double sided adhesives, I used them for sound proofing my room with sound panels. What happens is one side of the adhesive will stick to a surface but the other side comes undone, I don't mean sides of the actual material, I mean the actual adhesive itself. An example is I put all my sound panels on the wall... they started falling off, after closer inspection the adhesive would either stick to the wall and the material the adhesive was stuck to connected to the panel would remain stuck to the sound panel... or the reverse the sound panels would have the sticky adhesive stuck to it but would come undone from the material the adhesive was stuck to while still being stuck to the wall... I know it sounds confusing, but that's the best way to explain it. So basically avoid these at all costs unless you are using it to stick something to the ground like a box or garbage can or something of the sorts purchase something else.

There were recommended to adhere foam sound dampening tiles to the wall. I thought that since they were 3M they would be good. The foam tiles weigh next to nothing but the adhesive DOES NOT STICK WELL to the foam tiles. As you can see from the photo, most of the tiles fell off the wall within 30 minutes. I even went and put on more adhesive and pressed each one for a full minute - thus wasting about 3 hours. BUT...they sure did stick very well to my wall....THESE CANNOT BE REMOVED WITHOUT PEELING THE PAINT OFF AND CAUSING DAMAGE that will take hours to repair - patching, sanding, primer, paint, never mind having to move all my computer equipment out of the way again. Save your money. Last time I put up foam tiles, I used double sided nano tape. I should have stuck with that.
