I was a bit intimidated but sprayed this on a bumper I built using a Raptor gun. It was super easy and went on well. I highly recommend this.

Exactly what I needed to finish the JEEP. Fast delivery! Been a year now since I sprayed my JEEP and still holding up nicely. Easy product to use, but a few tips go a long way. Allow only 45 minutes working time as it begins to set in the bottle and starts spraying out flakes. Learn to disassemble the spray gun first and use a silicone grease on the threads BEFORE using. I had two spray guns in the event that I couldn't get one or the other to work right or cleaned in time. U-Pol recommends cleaning in between bottles. Set the nozzle and air pressure for the texture appearance you want. DO NOT get too close to the surface or you will end up with a shiny spot. Surface prep is key! Good luck! This is a great product and couldn't be more pleased with it.

This product flows well and looks great when sprayed. I would not recommend rolling it on. If all you're doing is fender flares, bumpers and other low SF surface area, I recommend the spray can version. The texture is finer and the appearance after applied is phenomenal. I've never had a problem with flaking with the spray can, whether applied on metal or plastic. But with this product several areas have peeled and lifted and I had to redo the problem areas. I think that part of the reason for the flaking is because the ratio of hardener is too high. I recently used this product again using less hardener (reduced it by approximately 25%) and I'll check it in a few months to see how it is holding up. So far, it's good and it dried hard. I used this product a year ago and when it started to flake the texture was very brittle and crumpled like a potato chip. I had the same part Linex'd a couple years ago. I was actually able to scrape the texture off of the surface (2x6 area) and it wasn't hard, didn't flake or crumble. It peeled off like a sheet of plastic. This is what got me to thinking that Raptor recommends too much hardener. Just thought I would share this. Hope it helps someone. Again, I would use 25% less hardener.

Great quality product. Do yourself a favor and stick to this brand.Back in 2014 I painted my 99 Silverado 1500 Stepside with this bedliner. I recently hit the truck with some touch up bedliner. Mainly the roof, bed and parts of the side as well. One mistake I made back in 2014 was not buying enough of it. I used 3-4 kits and I was short. I didn't have enough for the bed. It's safe to say 5-6 kits would be more than enough for that size job.Make sure to wear a mask, gloves and old shoes/clothes.Lookup "bedliner paint job" on y0utube, click on the black bedlined Stepside Chevy and you can see a short video of the end result.

This is the second time I've purchased the Raptor Liner product for a project. It's easy to mix, easy to spray, and the final product looks amazing. Don't waste your time with the aerosol bed liner product for $15.00 or more per can when you can get a Raptor Liner kit that looks 10 times better when finished for very close to the same money, if not cheaper in the long run. The only drawback is once the product is mixed with the hardener, it must be sprayed. You'll also need the spray gun (can be purchased with the rest of the product as a kit) and an air compressor. For reference, I used this kit (one bottle plus hardener) to spray one overlapping / thick coat the lower sections of the doors, the rocker panels, the factory fender flares, and both the front and rear bumpers on a 1997 Jeep Cherokee XJ.

This is very versatile material. You can thin it with urethane reducer and spray with an HVLP gun if you are looking for a smoother texture. I used on a golf cart top and got great results. Sanded the surface pretty rough, sprayed adhesion promoter, epoxy primer, then the raptor liner. Couldn't remove it if you tried. Finally got rid of the beige top!

The packaging is wrongly labeled and does not match what is advertised. There is not the traction additive included, and you get a quart of hardener. Since I had to finish my project, I did not return. The label on the outside of the plastic bag says the traction additive was included, there was none. The hardener is way too much for the bedliner bottle included. I don't have plans of using Raptor bedliner again, so now I have to worry about getting rid of a hazardous substance. Raptor is great, but it is slippery even when applied with the special gun and it finishes out rough looking. I really needed the traction additive. Whomever was in charge of putting together this package needed to at least educate the drone that assembled the kit to match the products on the label to what the label says. I don't know which company put the package together, Amazon or UPol, but this worries me about buying other special kits like this again from online places like Amazon.
