I ordered these in the fall to have something to wear in the winter months with traction to walk the dog. Right after I got them, it rained non stop, so every trip to the dog park was muddy and wet. I’ve since worn these every day to take the dog out in rain, snow, ice - you name it. They aren’t 100% waterproof but they come pretty darn close. They’ve taken a beating, but they are light, comfortable, durable and keep my feet warm and dry on a daily basis. I would definitely order these again once I wear through mine.

New to New England, ordered these and they are warm, comfortable, and handle both powder and slushy snow and ice well

I’m very late to review but I feel the need to nevertheless. I bought these shoes for my husband for a winter trip to Utah a couple years ago. He said they are the most comfortable boots he’s owned and keep his feet very warm and dry (even in snow) Mind you, my husband hates the cold and is very picky lol We use to live in a warm beach city in CA but have since moved to a cold climate (for work) and he’s been wearing them ever since! I’ve been wanting to buy him a different color but they were out of stock for awhile and I’m so happy to see they have some back in stock. I’m hoping they are of same quality. I’m about to order him a new pair for Christmas. For reference he is a 10 which is the size I ordered and fit him perfectly.

This is second pair I ordered. The first had such a bad, acrid chemical smell, it's absolutely being returned. It hit me as soon as I opened the package and didn't dissipate even after leaving the boots out. It was eye and throat irritant and continues to be every time I've taken it out of its package since. Not as bad as the first time I took them out, but still too strong. The second pair has a less potent smell, low enough to keep and think it will dissipate.I may or may not order another pair. Really debating not knowing what the source of the smell is, whether I should risk getting another with same issue - Am I risking my health?Other than that, love these boots but haven't yet worn to assess how it holds up. The color is a bit darker than what I've seen in the seller's photos, but not a reason to return. Could be the seller's photos or my device. If not for the acrid smell, this boot could potentially be a 5. The cushioning is fantastic.

40 (!) years ago I bought a pair of hiking boots for about $40 (which was real money in 1980). They were beautifully made, with Vibram soles and excellent leather stitching. But over the years, the leather hardened and cracked, my feet got bigger, and they hurt like hell to wear. But since I only used them in the snow, and where I lives it only snows a few times a year, I kept them.Until I saw these boots. They are nowhere near as finely made as the ones I got when I was in my 20's -- pieces are glued, rather than sewn, and I doubt the soles will wear as well as those in my old boots -- but they fit well, are incredibly comfortable, and cost less than $40 -- in today's dollars. (That's about $12.75 in 1980 money.) I have no idea how long they will last, but I just wish I'd bought them sooner.

I purchased these boots as they had a decent rating and looked warm and comfortable. They certainly are both of those from the first time you use them. After 10 days of wearing them I noticed my left foot felt really wet although the boots appeared dry on the top. After inspecting the left bottom sole I noticed a big crack that was letting any and all water in to my left boot. I chalked this up to bad luck or that I stepped on something and caused this. I then ordered a tan pair of the same boots. After about the same amount of time I noticed yet again my left foot was wet. I immediately looked at the left sole and noticed an almost exact crack in the sole as last time. Now I new it is a manufacturing defect and not something I did. Do not waste your money on these boots unless you only plan to use them for a couple weeks. I no they are inexpensive boots, however 10 days to fail is absurd!
