Got this for my Echo CS 400 chainsaw. Mounts easily, and actually out performs the OEM it replaced. Tip doesn't get hot, and the chain moves almost friction free with adequate lubrication. I've been using it for about 2 weeks now and have had no issues. I'd buy it again.

There must be more then one style of Echo 18†chainsaw, the chain pitch will not work for my saw, this was not mentioned that there different styles made. I had a death in the family and was not able to work on the return within the 30 days.

I used this bar to replace a locked-up bar on my echo cs-400, and it seems as good, maybe even better than the original part.
