I ordered this bell for a Cub Scout graduation ceremony. Each kid got to "ring the bell" when his name eas called and it was a big hit! Easily mounted to a wooden paddle and added designs to the paddle. Tried adding metal design to the bell at first but it muffled the tone. Nice, quality made item with a clear tone, not too loud, not too soft and a classy dark copper like finish. I did proactively replace the ring that held the rope to the bell with an old keychain ring that seemed more solid. Definitely recommend.

This will be a nice accessory for our farm’s cottage. It will be a good deco as well. I will be ringing the bell with pleasure since I really love a vintage looking bell that you can play and be able to enjoy the sound of it at same time.

I purchased this bell for my young son to use in his outside play area. So I really did want to ring it and not just look at it. It has a decent sound, looks nice, quality seems good except for the little metal ring that connects the rope to the bell. It is a little weak and my son pulled it off. But it was easy to fix. For the money, I am satisfied.

We have a brick ranch-house from the 60s. We’re trying to not add anything too glaringly mismatched or modern.This doorbell looks like it came with the house. It’s great.If you have shy knockers, you might not hear them at the door. But if you give this bell a good ring, you’re set.Great sound and quality.

We are very pleased with this bell. My daughter's cancer infusion center did not have a bell and on her last day of treatment we wanted to have her ring one. So we bought the bell and my husband held it while I read something and then my daughter rang the bell to end her treatment. We then donated the bell which can be hung on a wall to the infusion center. It has a lovely sound and is sturdy and well made.

We were looking for a dinner bell mostly as a decorative piece, but also a functional one, and this fits the bill nicely. It's all-metal, nice and heavy, and has a pleasant tone - a little higher pitched than I was expecting, but it's nice.

Esta muy bien para lo que lo querÃamos.El tamaño, la cuerda, todo es como la foto.Salvo que pensabamos que era de color negro pero es un marrón muy oscuro. Cuando la compramos no nos fijamos si especificaba el color ya que en la imagen de Amazon nos parecÃa negra. Pero SORPRESA el color que tiene nos encanta más

Great quality and very solid product. There is only one small issue, which can be resolved easily, is to have a stronger ring connecting the cord and the bell as it can bend open very easily. Other than that 100% satisfied.
