I'm using a Hikvision DS-HD1 doorbell camera, I wanted it to trigger a 12v buzzer in our loading dock. If you're like me, and know nothing about low voltage, Youtube isn't going to help much. Here are a couple of helpful points I wish I knew going in: First of all the 12v (DC) buzzer is meant to pair with a 16v (AC) transformer. This AC DC stuff gets confusing right out of the gate. Second, you need two sources of power: I used a 24v AC transformer to power my Doorbell camera, and open/close the relay contact. I used a 16v AC transformer to complete the circuit for the buzzer. Third, I don't know how other doorbell cameras operate, but I discovered mine will energize the contact (and thus trigger the buzzer) for about 10 seconds before the power module finally opens the 24v circuit as expected. When I was initially testing, I thought there was something wrong with the relay, or more likely that I have it wired incorrectly. Lastly, you need to select "electronic" chime in the phone app. This will allow you to set the duration of the buzz (or chime) I attached a photo of my masterpiece (it's hidden in the ceiling); and the other us a homemade schematic I found useful. It's for the ring pro but the same rules apply.

Works great. Has an LED indicator built in. I used it for a rather unusual purpose:My video doorbell (like most Ring, Nest, Dahua, Hikvision) is designed to connect to a standard mechanical "ding dong" chime. I wanted it to close a set of contacts for another purpose. My existing doorbell was 24VAC, so I got this 24VAC relay. Worked like a charm. It is meant to be screwed down or DIN rail mounted. I used sticky tape and it holds fine.Screw contacts are a little small- I wouldn't attempt to hold anything larger than #14 or #16 wires.

I used 2 of these to connect Eufy video doorbell cams to my Nutone chime module. I watched you tube videos before my project and already knew that this might or might not work depending on individual reaction of various relays. I'm using 16vac power supplies with 24vac relays so not really the fault of the relay. Anyway, one works great, the other one not. The one that doesn't work, chatters and rings chime continuously upon power up. After pressing the doorbell button it works but rings chime occasionally and randomly. The other one works perfectly. I've ordered a couple more relays (different brand, different price point) to see if I get better results.

I'm using this to power a doorbell circuit at the street. Powering the coil using a 110V/24VAC transformer i bought at Lowe's. Picked up one of the NO contacts and ran that to my house doorbell. Voila! It beats having to run 2 number 8's 200'. This allowed me to use 2 number 16's. Three wiring diagram is on the relay housing, the relay clicks so loud i can hear it from the street but it works rock solid. Would buy it again. Would recommend.

The pinout of the socket base is very simple. There are four ranks or rows, and each row has 3 cells or columns. Each row has two terminals and either a blank spot or a screw hole. The leftmost terminal in each row is for the left pole, the rightmost terminal in each row is for the right pole. Except the bottom row, which has the two terminals for the coil and LED.S 1 45 X 89 X 1213 14 SS = screwhole, X = blank spot ; this matches the pin numbers on the relay faceI am using this for load shedding. Two devices on the same circuit with a combined worst-case load in excess of the breaker rating. One of the loads is controlled by a 24vac circuit, the other is not controlled externally. One of the phase wires for the uncontrolled load is fed through a current sensing relay which turns on when it is pulling a serious load. I have this relay wired up to invert that signal - the control signal from the controlled load is hooked up to the NC terminals and the common terminals which prevents the controlled load from turning on during times when the uncontrolled load is active. So far, it seems to be working.Oh, and this relay (with base) is too tall to fit into a standard-depth 4" square box, but it does fit under a raised cover.

I used this during the install of my Ring doorbell in my old intercom system.

I recently bought a Ring Doorbell and needed it to interface with my phone system to ring the phones in the house rather than a traditional doorbell, and this relay did the trick. When Ring triggers a doorbell ring, it trips the relay instead of ringing a chime. Works well. The included base made it easy to wire up (though the terminals are a little small). Easy enough to figure out how to wire it too.

I have an intercom and wanted the Nest Doorbell to also trigger the intercom doorbell sound. This relay worked great after deciphering where to put which wire. After looking lots online and also checking out other reviews here is what I figured out.Wires mounted in pins 13 & 14 go to the "nest chime" end -- I added 2 single wires between the nest chime "push pin ends" and then connected the other wires to the relay in position 13 & 14. I then spliced another wire and connected it to both ends of the relay (completing circuit when relay fires) with the other 2 ends of the wire screwed into my Intercom doorbell system.FYI I am using a 16V rated transformer and this 24V relay works without issue -- I got a tri-current transformer and tried it on the 24V setup too and obviously worked with it as well.

I connected this to the 24v AC output on my furnace. When the furnace cycles on it triggers the solenoid on this unit. This allows a 24v DC circuit to become live, which I have connected to a 24v DC water pump that sprays water onto my furnace humidifier.Works great. Bonus LED allows you to check if its on.

Excellent! Works exactly as I expected it to. The writing on the ice-cube is a little hard to read and the base markings are nearly non-existent, but it's really straight forward to hook up.Used it to make my Electric Fireplace work off a 24v smart thermostat.Perfect solution!

My gas pot bellied stove used a "dry" connect system but I wanted to connect it to my Nest thermostat. This relay was the key part of making that happen. Has worked fine for last month or so.

Relay worked but socket has some problems so I just soldered to contacts and everything worked fine
