Buy this when you put a clutch in a jetta cause you are going to need it. This is in front of the throwout bearing you will ruin this cap removing it. I ruined 4 the original vw and 3 uro parts. also if you have a bad throwout bearing you can get it out through this hatch without removing the transmission no one told me so i took the whole thing out to get at the throwout and because the tranny was out I then ended up tearing down the transmission and rebuilding first, second and reverse. Also I got my instructions solely from [...] great job there awesome resource didn't even buy a book.

Came exactly as described and did it’s job well, it sealed the back of the transmission exactly how it should. Will order another one if and when I have to replace anything on this trans.
