If you bought this, then you know about the Original Plastic pulley that came with the car from the factory. The issue is over time the pulley edges get sharp & can cut your serpentine belt! That's a FACT.This one is good quality.Doing the job sucks. Especially if your car is the 335. I had a shop install. $400. Not thrilled but that's Life!!!

Our motor mounts failed and the plastic pulley in the picture was contacting the subframe under wide open throttle. Shredded 3 belts before I figured it out. This pulley is a huge improvement over the plastic stock pulley. Perfect fit for 2007 e93 335i 6 speed convertible

Went on good on my 2008 BMW 335i n54. Should be more durable than the factory plastic pulley that cracked/broke and resulted in a shredded serpentine belt. Part feels solid and well-made!

Installed easily, worked great as a preemptive replacement. Was doing some bulletproofing of the car and wanted to change the plastic one out to prevent issues when replacing the belt, tensioners, etc.

The original power steering pulley is made of plastic. Attached to a hot engine - you do the math.This aluminum-made after-market part will prevent the catastrophe of a plastic part disintegrating. Well-made part, easy to install.Money well-spent, a ‘must have’ for this engine (N54).

Removed old and chipped plastic (oe) pulley along with chewed up accessory belt. Installed new aftermarket aluminum pulley and new belt. Part bolted right up. Good fitment and appears to be a quality part. Have been driving daily for 4 months now with zero issues.
