It's pretty common for the Saab coolant tank cap to separate as age & heat these cars produce under the hood leads to their ultimate demise. This is a direct replacement for the factory part. Perfect fit on my '06 Aero 2.8L turbo. The hardest part is removing the old one as 1/2 of it remains stuck on the tank. Judicious effort with a pair of needle nose pliers got mine free. I suppose if that didn't work I would've drilled into it & extracted with a reverse threaded bolt or extractor bit. One obvious word of caution, do it when your engine's cold!

Needed this cap asap, as mine literally disintegrated in the coolant reservoir and was stuck inside it. It arrived the day after I ordered it and fit my 05 Saab 9-3 perfectly. Thank you!

Fits well, looks good, I'd say it is equivalent to OEM quality. The color is nice, not faded. No complaints.

Bought this to replace the stock overflow radiator jug cap that basically got so hot in our Saab 9.3 aero it destructed and was almost impossible to remove. This cap fit perfectly and so far has held up well. My plan is to replace yearly now as the heat those 2.8LV6 engines throw is extremely hot.

I needed a new tank cap bad. Old one screwed off with the middle pug still in the tank. its an older Saab, I don't need stock replacement, if I open thAT cap, maybe twice a year. Anyway, ordered lime on a Sat night and Monday morning it was at my door. Fought the old cap 1 last time, put this one on so easily yet it tightened like the best of them. Took it off and on a couple times, super smooth, everytime. I don't usually get more than I bargain for, but I did thus time. I'm so glad I bought this. Thank You !!!

Works as intended. Feels a lot lighter/ not as sturdy as my factory resvoir lid, but the threads for twisting it on feels smoother. 4.5/5
